the spoiler screen is the best addition; I was just explaining to the GF yesterday how much of a hindrance not being able to touch the screen at all without potentially spoiling myself. The only way I made it this far was by constantly telling myself it could just be a draw.

The moment elysium took laser's nurse to a tiebreaker I knew it was gonna be a 4-0. They are just on a different level. Kinda sad that sinners didn't make it to the grand final I think weejasonn would have been able to snatch a set or 2 on killer. GGs everyone!

Elysium played out of their minds in that last game. I can only imagine how frustrating it is to play Killer against that. Just insane teamwork and individual skill from Elysium.
i really enjoy otz and hens (especially together) doing commentary, i just think its a bit unfair that they get the finale.
you know you have all these commentators commentating often, everyone wants the finale and you just give it to 2 content creators that otherwise never commentate :D

It's a balance. If you're a caster you also care about growing the scene, which having big name streamers does

Absolutely, Otz and Hens did a phenomenal job and were nothing but polite and respectful toward the DBDLeague staff. There’s no issue with giving the finals over to big names such as them to boost viewership

@@2841guilherme They were the best two teams of those years though I believe Eternal is the best of all time. The only reason Elysium became the number one for a short while was because Zaka left Eternal and moved to Elysium after which Eternal disbanded. Elysium has never been able to top Eternal at full power, and now since the boys are back, Elysium will fade away like its prior iterations (SNG, etc...).

Otz' commentary soured this for me NGL, he was cutting off Hens a lot and kept asking questions for the newer people watching, which just got grating after a while for me
Insane plays and teamwork from Elysium though, always a pleasure to watch great teamwork at play

i disagree, otz talked more during killer as he let Hens talk more during survivor. exactly how it should have been and exactly how @dbdleague wanted. the killer main analyzing the killer round while the survivor main did so for survivor round. both were great.

Why they redo the nurse round? Because of tie? They should then rely on time.
You don't want a survivor to hide for 40minutes to get the most amount of time to break the tie

Why would you want to watch that? It would just be a shorter video, you're not meant to sit there and actually look at the spoiler shield for 2 hours.

Why is there never a survivor with a flashlight or sabo in tournaments?
Flashlight saves happen occasionally, but it's usually something that happens out of circumstance instead of something planned ahead of time, since it's usually a better idea to just have the flashlight user on a gen somewhere.
Sabotage is totally banned: Toolboxes are never allowed, and Saboteur is general banned.
@@hahyeeloh1891 The flashlights make sense. Had no idea sabo was banned and I wonder why? When people use it in on me I usually just walk to the next hook, or if I’m lucky I can sometimes get a free down. I know it’s not meta but I use iron grasp since so many people run sabo or boil over
@@Classicv5 Remember that things don't just get banned because they're overpowered. Sabo isn't (to a certain level) OP, but it can lead to massive benefits for the survivors seemingly at random. It's too inconsistent.
Some other leagues do allow toolboxes, but they're usually much more reserved, and most teams end up using them for repair anyways. But DBDL takes a no-BS approach.
@@Classicv5 sabo was banned from the most important tourneys 2 years ago cause it is in fact broken when given to a good team that can call dying locations, it can turn a good start for the killer into a first hook at 1 gen left (happened multiple times in the past)

@Crispy-wi7qr yeah, it also just sounds like a conversation. Only ELY nurse but there is like no hype. Ofc it's still enjoyable and no hate to them it's super hard to cast and takes a lot of practice and skill they did good all things consdiered

Why is anti-camp banned? I understand perk/item bans, but why not balance competitive around the base game?
Because it's not balanced, no killer can win by not camping against a good surv. And plus the feature of anticamping was added to prevent facecamping thus making solo queue experience better in pubs.

@@4E3ABARDAK-you don’t think these pros could win without camping? If you pressure the gens after a hook, one person has to get the rescue and you’re chasing one offa gen so that leaves only one survivor on generator. The unhooked survivor might reset with sloppy butcher and by that time you might have another hook. Yes, the survivor comes means they can pre-leave gens and stealth, but that only goes so far. I think getting a win isn’t crazy. Maybe not a 4k, but a win.

Why do they still allow Nurse in these things? A top-tier nurse is agonizingly boring to go against (and to watch people go against). The survivors are essentially forced to trundle along and cower for the entire match because they're going against a killer who completely ignores the entire chase system.
I like otz but he's not a good caster imo. Bro sounds like he has never watched a comp game before and points out the most obvious things

it’s to not spoil the result? cos you watch the first 2 games and see only 4 chapters meaning 4 rounds and thus by the second game yk one team won 4-0 and there wasn’t a chance of a comeback or that super strong early game turned out to not snowball. doesnt take that much intelligence to figure that out do better

All they do is facecamp and when there teammate gets hooked they let them die on the first hook just so they don’t get hooked themselves because all the killer does is facecamp. These guys suck at the game. If you have to facecamp to guarantee yourself a kill then your trash
