Echo, you don’t need a soul for Wixwell. He can be used as is in a one key Nightmare Hydra team or a one key UNM Clan Boss team without needing Cruelty (the recommended blessing for him). It’s going to be very expensive in champ training and/or shard pulling so please don’t chase after the five star soul just because it’s there. Don’t risk being able to do the next fusion for an unnecessary soul!
If a champ without a shield attacks the Scarab King he counterattacks. That’s why you have to have shields up on everyone at all times. One of the easiest strategies for him is a war of attrition with poison.
You have Aox the Rememberer. You have Kael. So you can land poisons from both of them and Aox’s passive will multiply them. Keep shields up, bring a good healer, a reviver and a cleanser to help you last long enough for the poisons to whittle him down. He’s a pain in the backside, but you CAN beat him with your existing champs. Especially if you have followed Deadwood Jedi’s advice and built Aox.
You’re correct that most of us will definitely say Wixwell for books, because he’ll help you get more books.
A one man Supreme Galek team is just a nasty trap for players who don’t recognise him or know what he can do.

I don't care what any rando's online say..... I fully book every champ I throw books into.
I also build champs based on if I think they are cool, not because 'you must build X champ for Y content'.
I also gear champs based on my own opinions of their abilities and what I think would be best.
I also do stuff that uses game resources, just for the fun of it.
I'm a big proponent of playing the game 'your own way'.
the thing with scarab: all your champs do need a bloodshield ring
you can put only those champs who got bloodshield ring and then it will work
They didn't explain that boss very well.He counter attacks if the person that attacks him does not have a shield.The ring helps, but you would need one on your whole team. You're better off looking for someone who applies a shield to your whole team.

For Scarab King you need champions with [Shield] buffs and with skills that destroy enemy MAX HP.
If you dont have such champions you need the 4-piece Destroy Set for MAX HP destruction which you can farm from Dragon and you can use Bloodshield accessories which you get from cvc for [Shield] buffs.
If you have a good poison champion you can put them in Regeneration + Immortal gear with a Bloodshield accessory completely ignoring the whole MAX HP destruction mechanic and while it will take ages, you will eventually beat the boss with poisons.
You need to actually think about which champion to build for each boss, because just throwing random stuff on your team isn't going to work out.
I would highly suggest "rushing" Wixwell, as currently he is pretty overpowered/strong. In the past, when a fusion was this powerful, around 3 weeks later Plarium would nerf the champs. They likely will be nerfing him.
Arena gold 4 and 5 is tough if want to advance need to finish the mission and get Arbiter. This is where most of us long time players stay at while the Krakens push for platinum. Even after you get Arbiter will be all about how fast she is and how fast you have Armons and how high his accuracy is.
Book wixwell he will make you do 1 key Ultra Nightmeare Clan boss. Watch Hell Hades wideo on him. It will be a huge boost for your account
I forgot that he needs only the A2 booked. Even better
you can solo minotaur with rathalos and earn more xp for your second champion
The shield isn’t for protection it’s to stop the counter attack from his passive. If you build tyrant in a regen set with immortal set and blood shield he will solo scarab I think
It depends on where you want to push in content. If you want to focus on clan boss and try to beat UNM I’d do Wixwell. If you want to focus more on arena or push Doom Tower I would do Armanz. Regardless you can’t go wrong with who you book.
#madeit ,you need those rings full team tho, then the bloodshield works perfectly. Or you can build one nuker with destry set to remove scarabs shield with removing max hp. I did with mixed up with bloodshield and destroy set on hard doom.
Id prioritize wixwell with books atm. Just becouse you can smash clan boss easily then and get more books more faster!
Books are for Wixwell, coz of CB. And you are doing great, seeing how new your account is. Enjoy the journey, don't sprint to a finish!
So, plenty of time to go to the gym, as the game will still be there when you come back home.
dont need to book Armanz, he can lock teams out on first time so you dont need to lower his cd for longer fights with that kind of team
Wixwell unlocks unkillable teams for unm clan boss, clanboss give shards and books. Armaz unlocks wave and certain dungeons, and they give better gears. Personally, I'll go for Wixwell for the rewards at your lvl.
Armanz or Wixwell for your books.... just get the lower cooldowns and move to the next champ.
Go back and book for damage when you have the extra
u need a blood shield ring/amulet or banner on everyone who physically attacks the scarab
tho wixwell should be mvp for scarab growing and extending his shields. Try him with 2x Valerie from campaign, they extend buffs
and now that you have 2x Valerie/Sprite and Wixwell and a Geo you might be able to 1 key ultra nightmare demon lord
I have decided to NOT get the souls. Its just not worth it. Wixwell's value is in his shield raise for clanboss. No blessing helps with that
dont know if im missing something but I cant find the poll in the community tab, any ideas?

beating UN ulan boss with wixwell will help you get more books for Armanz later on

Wixwell, you want his A2 maxed, if RNG smiles upon you, you could get that A2 maxed with those books, I had seven and used them all at once so I don't know if I needed all seven or not but I'm probably not giving him more since I got his A2 maxed. Scarab can be cheesed with the Bloodshield ring but everyone in the party has to have one, if you get someone like Lugan the Steadfast he can solo the early stages due to his A1.
