As a film buff you'll appreciate how well the MV is put together with the lyrics. When Byul mentions holding her grandma's hand in the lyrics, it shows her doing it in the MV. When Solar says 'the next stop is woojang mountain' they get off the bus and there is a sign outside saying '우장산 (woojang mountain)' . Solar mentioning being in 'Rabbit Class' and being outside a classroom with '토끼 (rabbit)' above the door (presumably her old classroom 🐰) Lots and lots of little details like that. They are basically re-enacting the song 😂 God, Solar referencing that spinning leek meme and me still laughing proves we are the same age 🤣 And Wheein sabotaging MoonSun's dish with salt is peak Mamamoo 😂 A lot of their older stuff was all subbed by a channel called mamamootrans because RBW sucks at uploading subs (as I said before, genuinely one of the reasons I decided to learn Korean 😂). I'm unsure if they are still available somewhere but their subs were top tier 👌 I do think this video has subs on Mamamoo's official channel though (not their distributor Stone Music) I'm guessing they are spraying their legs in Woohoo so they don't have to redo their hair if they have to reshoot 😂 it looks so funny though
Funny thing is Girl Crush was only released for the online game and was surprisingly a hit on digital charts.. I think that's how they got known for delivering effective good song for CFs. Before the LG one, they even sang one of an university.
i love my hometown and recipe because they just show how close the girls really are- solar and moonbyul went with each other to their respective hometowns, and then hwasa and wheein grew up together, so they were able to just go home together, and then obviously, their crackhead energy together while making food
Gleam and Wanna be Myself are equally good commercial songs. The Gopchang chain song is my personal fave, but lesser known. Coming from a small company, MMM truly appreciate every opportunity that they get, and they always deliver more than assignment requires.
