Many people have strong feelings about what kind of music is appropriate for church, and exactly how it should be performed. Performed for who? I absolutely love this!! I had the great pleasure of attending a GIA workshop with Dr. Abbington in Mobile, AL a few years ago. He was very warm and personable. Thank God for this very erudite, anointed church musician and academician!!

I love Dr. Abbington's work and leadership. Although we have great leadership currently for the Hampton Minister's Conference, Dr. Abbington is missed.

This is a great video. Dr. Abbington is a treasure in my eyes. Heard him perform at a church in Atlanta a few years ago and I have been a fan since ! LOVE HIM !

Very interesting expository. Definitely a fine line between gospel music for music sake and gospel for the revelation of Christ.
