Silicone utensils while cooking is better and healthier so you won’t scrape up your pots and put unhealthy particles in your food! Your meal looks amazing hun
I really enjoy your cooking videos! Just a little tip if you ever think something is going to make a mess in your oven. Place a large baking sheet on the rack below to catch any drips or spills ❤. If you want your lasagna to stick together better, just let it sit for 15 minutes or so after cooking and that will make a world of difference. It looked delicious!
I’m so proud of you for making your first lasagna, but the trick to keep the lasagna together, you layer the lasagna first at the bottom of the pan for a foundation then you start laying in the meat and the cheese and all of that. And let it cool before cutting so that it doesn’t fall apart but y’all my family always cut it. They can’t wait for it to cool, but I like it the next day it always nice and firm and all of the sauce then sink into the noodles I love my spaghetti the next day as well Blessings, baby girl practice is perfect. Love you. oh I forgot one more thing. Use a square pen and I also realize that I don’t cover the lasagna. I just put it in the oven for 30 minutes on 350 and it comes out just right. Keep up the good work.
Hey Caprisiana, Ok couple points 1) use your silicone spatula when cooking ..the metal spoon will take your coating off your pans and mess them up 2)When cooing your veggies down use olive oil instead of veg oil it's healthier. 3) lasagna noods always break apart... But after you boil them strain them and shock them with cold water to stop the cooking process. 4) next time get you one of those aluminum lasagna pans from the store works way better 5) more cheese 😂😂😂 meat sauce , cheese, noodles, I normally don't do the cream sauce cause it has the ricotta mixture but if you do. Meat sauce , cream sauce, cheese noodles and do 3-4 layers and top with cheese. Bake at 375 for 30-45 minutes. If you wanna make a smaller portion make it in a deeper brownie pan. That tends to the perfect amount for 2-3 people. It didn't hold together because there wasn't enough cheese in the Middle and it didn't bake long enough With all that being said you did phenomenal for it being your first time.
Yes, u agree and was going to say the same thing. Get you a pan from the dollar tree next time and layer with cheese. Don't be afraid to use a recipe on camera. We all do it. Love your content and vlogs. Keep up the good work, sis.
The tip for lasagna is you have to let it sit for a while and really cool down before you cut and serve. I don’t make a cream sauce for mine I just do ricotta and an egg and parm, so maybe that made yours a little more runny? Definitely use an egg next time, it’s the perfect binder! Looks great though girl, you should be proud! ❤
Great job on the lasagna ! after it’s been in the oven for half of your baking time take the foil off let it finish (example :if you baking it for 40 min after 20 take the foil off) when u take it out don’t cut it for about 15 minutes let it cool some and it should be firm to cut , Because the cheese and sauce was so hot it why it was runny ! God bless you guys Grandma!
You did an amazing job. The trick to the firmness or molding of the lasagna is letting it cool first before cutting into it and eating, so tomorrow it should be to your liking after refrigerating it should be congeled.... I've been following you for a while and watching your journey. You are truly inspiring and spiritual. God Bless you and your family with Kingdom blessings and miracles, AMEN 👸🏾🤎🐝🌻
Great job for your first time!! 😊👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 The only advice I would add is to allow it to bake longer, especially since you added an egg to it. 30-45 minutes. The fully cooked egg and cheeses will also bind everything together more. And rubber or wooden utensils so you don’t scratch your pans. 🫶🏽
So happy for you and all your blessings lil sis! To God be the glory! The layers of heavy cream sauce is probably what’s making your lasagna thinner. An alternative would be to add stewed or diced tomatoes to your meat sauce instead. My secret to taking your meat sauce to the next level is add fennel seeds as a seasoning to your sausage. I also don’t pre-cook my lasagna noodles anymore. If you have a good amount of sauce your noodles will cook thoroughly while baking. I love that you used ricotta cheese. Cottage cheese is a good alternative. I add dried Parmesan cheese and frozen spinach to mix. Drain any excess water, if it thaws. Also, once out of the oven you should let the lasagna rest a good five minutes before serving. This will allow the allow the sauce and cheese to solidify after being on high heat. You did an amazing job!
Great job on the lasagna. A few tips- use that black meat masher instead on the metal spoon for the meat. Also brown the meat in the cast iron skillet. As far as the lasagna, I love that you made the cheese sauce with spinach, consider using ricotta cheese and mix it with an egg the next time for a binder to tighten it up and find a casserole dish so that you can layer your noodles cheese and meats that way you will not have to break up your noodles. ❤ (You can find an oven save Pyrex set at Walmart, target or Kroger)
Lasagna came out good, the next time try it without the cheese sauce and just use the ricotta mixture and cheese on top with the meat!! It will stay together much better, and bake for about 15 minutes uncovered to brown the top and finish cooking. ❤😊
Congratulations on your new home, the Amazon haul and everything in between. You have a beautiful family. You did your thing with the lasagna it looks delicious and if y’all not going to eat it up be sure and freeze the leftovers. 🫶🏽😊
Hi. So once you done cooking your ground beef drain most of the fat away from the meat, then place meat back to the skillet and add tomato paste. Cook with foil on then 5 to 10 min. with foil off. Once your top cheese is brown pull it out. You did an amazing job. God bless.
Congratulations on cooking your first meal in your new skillet. I think for your first try it turned out amazing.my tip for you for the next time you make lasagna is for you to use a big square or rectangular glass casserole dish. That should help your lasagna be more uniform and stay together. Love ❤ you girl. Stay blessed 🙌 😊 l forgot to mention to make sure it's a Pyrex glass rectangular or square glass casserole dish.❤❤
Get well soon ❤️🩹 & it’s definitely a lot going on in the Air! Sea Moss helps and Juicing certain fruits & herbs! Food looks good! It’s 9pm I’m hungry now Lol!!
Heyyy Caprisiana, enjoyed watching you cook. I love lasagna too! I rarely give advice on TH-cam, however I was taught that it's, easier to use the pasta sheets dry and as they are rectangular, using a rectangular dish makes it easier. The bottom layer would be the meat as you did, then top with the pasta/noodle sheet, then top with the sauce and cream, pasta /noodle sheet and repeat the layering process. Top it off with sauce and Cheeeeeeese lol. The liquid from the sauces cook the sheets to perfection once you place in the oven for about 40 mins and it won't be runny once you've left it to set for about 15/20 mins after it's done. Xxx
Yes cook in the oven in the Pyrex glass pan and layer with both shredded cheese and the ricotta cheese mix over the meat for each layer. Don’t cover with foil
Look at the back of your lasagna it tells you how to layer. It needs to bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Let it cool for 30 minutes at least. When you cut it after letting it cool it will not collapse! It will keep its shape. Good job and God bless!
Congratulations 🎉 on your new home. A few tips from a chef noodles are meant to be al dente you are to cook the pasta The cheese sauce is what made it so runny use a little less cheese sauce Becky for about 35 to 45 minutes on 375 allow it to cool for about 10 to 15 minutes before serving it's best to cook in a square lasagna pan or baking pan just a few little tips to get it to the desired look that you would like next time but great job on your first bake love you guys
Cast iron skillet tip, don’t let your cast iron sit in water. I always clean my cast iron pots and immediately dry them with white kitchen towels and I add avocado oil after I dry it to keep it seasoned 💕❤️look up how to care for cast iron and you will love cooking with it as it gets older
That lasagne looks delicious...nice lot of sauces cheese and meat...I am actually taking some tips from you Caprisiana....but yes...always layer the pasta on the bottom and see if u can use a bigger baking pan ..so u can layer at least three times...love this gideo and keep up.the good work
Congratulations on reaching 40,000 subscribers you’ve earned it! Word of advice try using a meat masher for your ground beef and wooden or silicone spoons for your pans because those metal ones will scratch your pans up and your meal looks delicious!
Congratulations on surpassing 40,000 sunnies 😉! Lasagna looks yummy yummy babes! If you let it cool it will hold together better ! And you can also remove the foil from the pan before it fully done it will also brown alittle more at the top ! Great video 🤍
Great job on the lasagna. I just want to give you a friendly tip the tiles that you have on your microwave hang them on the knobs around the cabinets or put them in a drawer because you don't have a bread box put the bread on top of the microwave the appliance you have in the closet on the shelf most of those appliance need to be spread out around your cabinet. I understand you are a growing young woman who is positive and have a great outlook on life and I can't wait to see all of your accomplishments in the next 5 years you are going to be so successful. One of the most things I like about you you are understanding and willing to learn and that tells a lot about a person God bless you and I hope God continue to bless you amen
When i make lasagna i do..... 1. Noodles 2. Ricotta 3. Meat 4. Cheese I do these steps for every layer. Ive never seen the cheese sauce but that should be good too. Adding the cheese at every layer helps keep the lasagna together after cooling. I also use a rectangular Pyrex glass pan ( invest in some, you will never use foil, or metal pans again). I don't use the foil on top either. This video was great though. I love to see your vlogs!!! BTW... Use your new silicone cookware so you wont mess your pots and pans up. 😊
If you make it in a 9 by 12size container it will spread out better and cook up more firmly. Also the already cooked lasagna noodles work really well too...
Bake the lasagna without the foil on to crisp the top and dont throw out the rest of the lasagna pasta, u can freeze them and reuse them for another lasagna.
lol I made lasagna recently for the first time and used the whole box of noodles as well. Thinking I would use it up. You’re lasagna turned out amazing😋 might need to try it with sweet Italian sausage
Pri that new high chair they got you you’re supposed to put it on another chair to give him leg room. It’s not to be used on the floor at his age, you’ll have to invest in a good sturdy chair to put his new high chair on luv ya boo! 🫶🏼😇
Dinner looking good your first my first Christmas was great. You have to do away with the spoon you uses. If you want your pants to last. An not stick You have plastic an wooden. Is perfect to use. Salt an paper towels to clean black cast iron. Always oil after each uses. Bless you your doing great 👍
Hey! I used to cut onione just like that! 😂 I just searched "Gordon Ramsey how to dice onions." He has an effective, simple technique! You're doing great. Keep it up! :)
Dinner looks good, but next time you make ur lasagna after taking it out the oven let it sit for 15 to 20 min so it can bind together when you cut into it😊🧡💯

I was thinking about that too! Wooden, well bamboo or silicone are good alternatives!

Hey Caprisiana,
Ok couple points
1) use your silicone spatula when cooking ..the metal spoon will take your coating off your pans and mess them up
2)When cooing your veggies down use olive oil instead of veg oil it's healthier.
3) lasagna noods always break apart... But after you boil them strain them and shock them with cold water to stop the cooking process.
4) next time get you one of those aluminum lasagna pans from the store works way better
5) more cheese 😂😂😂 meat sauce , cheese, noodles, I normally don't do the cream sauce cause it has the ricotta mixture but if you do. Meat sauce , cream sauce, cheese noodles and do 3-4 layers and top with cheese. Bake at 375 for 30-45 minutes.
If you wanna make a smaller portion make it in a deeper brownie pan. That tends to the perfect amount for 2-3 people.
It didn't hold together because there wasn't enough cheese in the Middle and it didn't bake long enough
With all that being said you did phenomenal for it being your first time.

Enchiladas are good too 🍲 you did a Great job ! 🎉

If you let the lasagna sit for around 20 minutes or so then cut into it. It will thicken up and stay together.
Ooh okay that’s where I messed up, thank you for the advice I’ll know next time!!
