This is incredible. Thank you for sharing this session. I am a director/dp/cinematographer and just ordered a Red Komodo-X package. I have shot on many cameras over the years including Alexa, Venice, and Red but this is my first time actually owning one. This is super helpful. Thank you.

What a phenomenal workshop and resource. Watched it start to finish and really enjoyed the introduction to the RED system. Looking forward to seeing what you guys do next.

They say “get as much light into the camera” show an example of a blown out snow image of girl, then later say “if you over expose you will lose recoverability.” So, which is it. Lean toward under exposing, or over exposing? Seems like if you can recover shadows but not highlights you’d want to air on the side of caution opposite of “get as much light into the camera,” no? 14:18 vs. 34:31

You have to transpose to ProRez and then edit in Premier Pro, you might as well be driving a horse and buggy. You’re going to color correct in resolve why would you not edit in resolve? Resolve is better than premier in every possible way. Never gonna drive a Tesla I’m just happy with my horse and buggy.
