Lemme appreciate Jake's engaging story-telling and his creativity, too. He artistically (and cutely) depicted his journey in his drawing with some interesting points: Page 1: Aussie boy Jake holding a flag of Australia and his red skateboard on his other hand. A kangaroo and a koala can also be seen, Australia's most popular animals. Page 2: Jake chasing his dream that sparked in his heart, here drawn as a star (idol dream) and he started his journey to I-Land. Page 3: He entered the gates of I-Land with wide-eyed enthusiasm and excitement for the new things that he is going to learn (a light bulb was above his head which might symbolize new learnings). Page 4: Jake with I-Landers, his friends and the people he will realize his dreams with. He even drew them wearing their badges. So cute. Hehe. Page 5 and beyond: Still an EMPTY one because we will all gonna help him write the continuation of his story by voting for him, yes??? ✨A STORY OF GROWTH✨ •••Into the I-Land••• When they were learning the choreography, Jake, along with Youngbin were struggling to keep up with the other ilanders because of their short training period. When they were asked to danced individually, Niki said that out of all the trainees, he think that Jake did it best. It’s just a shame that his mic dropped because I really wanted to hear his vocals. He had the lowest score (40) and was sent to the ground •••I&Credible••• When they were choosing who would do part 5, K thought that Jake would do a good job and Heeseung was contemplating between Jungwon and Jake He was able to learn the choreography fast and taught some of the ilanders the dance moves (the growth? from struggling to keep up with the choreo to teaching some of the ilanders the choreo) Jungwon: Jake hyung is good at this choreography. Hyung improved a lot since Into the I-Land For this performance he got a score of 75 (the growth? from being the lowest to being the 4th highest) With this stage and along with his past performances, the producers picked him to proceed to part 2 Rain: Jake keeps on growing •••I Need U••• We got to see rapper jake and if you compare his facial expressions from into the i-land to i need u there is a big improvement! During their mid evaluations, Mr. Son told him to work on his facial expressions on the part where lyrics says “go away” and you can see on his performance that he really worked hard to improve it. He managed to make it to the top 7 of the producers ranking “I think this guy is quite ambitious. He doesn’t have much experience. It’s not like we look out for him but he is saying like “look at me, look at what I’m doing“ on the stage.“ -producers comment on jake •••Flicker••• Here are some of what Jake said in the interviews. “Doing the team Flicker this time 4 out of 5 are ranking 1-4. I know where I am at so I have to practice harder. I am falling behind other four people.” -Jake after the mid evaluation- “I came a bit faster in tempo overall I thought that maybe I can hurt the entire team I think I should work even harder” -Jake is quite worried since each person has a solo part- “There are lots of solo parts and if I have nervous glances and awkward gestures, I think I can hurt the song.I do feel the pressure. I felt that I needed to analyze it more” What happened during the performance? The vocals, dancing skills, facial expression, and stage presence were all on point. Whatever the feedback he gets from the producers during their mid evals, he always try his best to correct it and improve it and it shows in his performances. He really deserved that rank 1 because HE WORKED HARD FOR IT. Producers comment on Jake: “You really looked cool since the entry. I could focus on you and you didn't fall behind among these top ranked guys.Your singing, dancing, and acting. You surprised me. He improved a lot. He's been growing steadily.“ •••Chamber 5••• During their mid evals he really got a bad feedback and we saw that he became disheartened because of that. Again, what happened during the performance?? 👇👇👇👇 Producers comment on Jake “This guy surprises me. He's grown so much. He got this charm that makes you keep looking at him." "Jake. it suited you better than expected. Of course skills is important but how you make the stage is alive and crucial. Everytime you perform, you make me happy." He was the first trainee who caught my attention. At first I taught he was just an eye candy but he keeps on surprising me with every episode. IF GROWTH WAS PERSON IT WOULD BE HIM He’s a really talented and hardworking boy. I feel inspired because of him and I learn a lot from him even though he is younger than me. Lemme appreciate Jake's engaging story-telling and his creativity, too. He artistically (and cutely) depicted his journey in his drawing with some interesting points:
Page 1: Aussie boy Jake holding a flag of Australia and his red skateboard on his other hand. A kangaroo and a koala can also be seen, Australia's most popular animals.
Page 2: Jake chasing his dream that sparked in his heart, here drawn as a star (idol dream) and he started his journey to I-Land.
Page 3: He entered the gates of I-Land with wide-eyed enthusiasm and excitement for the new things that he is going to learn (a light bulb was above his head which might symbolize new learnings).
Page 4: Jake with I-Landers, his friends and the people he will realize his dreams with. He even drew them wearing their badges. So cute. Hehe.
Page 5 and beyond: Still an EMPTY one because we will all gonna help him write the continuation of his story by voting for him, yes???
I also observed that he put a "sprout" on his head (under his name), much like the baby chick drawing he once made. This may symbolize "growth". We all know that Jake was a rookie trainee when he entered I-LAND and he was just that little sprout then. But he learned and grew a lot and is continuously growing in such a short span of time that he is indeed the Icon of Growth. That once little sprout will soon turn into a plant which will bear much fruit.
In conclusion, our Aussie boy Jake is not only talented and full of potentials but also a smart boy. And I know I'm not the only one looking forward to what more he can offer to us and how we'll all celebrate with him when he achieves his dream. Therefore, VOTE FOR JAKE, juseyo!

When they were learning the choreography, Jake, along with Youngbin were struggling to keep up with the other ilanders because of their short training period. When they were asked to danced individually, Niki said that out of all the trainees, he think that Jake did it best.
It’s just a shame that his mic dropped because I really wanted to hear his vocals. He had the lowest score (40) and was sent to the ground

When they were choosing who would do part 5, K thought that Jake would do a good job and Heeseung was contemplating between Jungwon and Jake
He was able to learn the choreography fast and taught some of the ilanders the dance moves (the growth? from struggling to keep up with the choreo to teaching some of the ilanders the choreo)
Jungwon: Jake hyung is good at this choreography. Hyung improved a lot since Into the I-Land
For this performance he got a score of 75 (the growth? from being the lowest to being the 4th highest)
With this stage and along with his past performances, the producers picked him to proceed to part 2

We got to see rapper jake and if you compare his facial expressions from into the i-land to i need u there is a big improvement! During their mid evaluations, Mr. Son told him to work on his facial expressions on the part where lyrics says “go away” and you can see on his performance that he really worked hard to improve it.
He managed to make it to the top 7 of the producers ranking
“I think this guy is quite ambitious. He doesn’t have much experience. It’s not like we look out for him but he is saying like “look at me, look at what I’m doing“ on the stage.“ -producers comment on jake

“Doing the team Flicker this time 4 out of 5 are ranking 1-4. I know where I am at so I have to practice harder. I am falling behind other four people.”

“I came a bit faster in tempo overall
I thought that maybe I can hurt the entire team
I think I should work even harder”
-Jake is quite worried since each person has a solo part-
“There are lots of solo parts and if I have nervous glances and awkward gestures, I think I can hurt the song.I do feel the pressure. I felt that I needed to analyze it more”
What happened during the performance? The vocals, dancing skills, facial expression, and stage presence were all on point. Whatever the feedback he gets from the producers during their mid evals, he always try his best to correct it and improve it and it shows in his performances.
He really deserved that rank 1 because HE WORKED HARD FOR IT.
Producers comment on Jake:
“You really looked cool since the entry. I could focus on you and you didn't fall behind among these top ranked guys.Your singing, dancing, and acting. You surprised me. He improved a lot. He's been growing steadily.“

He was the first trainee who caught my attention. At first I taught he was just an eye candy but he keeps on surprising me with every episode. IF GROWTH WAS PERSON IT WOULD BE HIM He’s a really talented and hardworking boy. I feel inspired because of him and I learn a lot from him even though he is younger than me.
