    The APC BR1500G-IN was the only high end UPS I could find for my high end PC, but the reviews on Amazon really don't give you confidence on this product, so I test and address the issues that may keep you from buying this.

    August 2020 Update: UPS started showing F02 Error, and it was just not starting up, and became completely non functional. But I called the Schneider service in India, and within 2 days they arranged for someone to visit my home, he came with a replacement unit with him, then ensured that my unit was faulty, and just swapped the replacement in place, but with the battery of my older UPS as it was UPS that was malfunctioning, not battery. This whole process took 5-10 minutes, so that was probably the best after sales service I've had with a brand. The new unit works perfectly.

    Hey I got a question. I bought this UPS for my gaming pc a few weeks ago. What I want to know that, as the power draw from a psu is dynamic. Does the UPS pull it's rated capacity from the grid? Or is it dynamic too? Like this UPS for example, does it pull full 865 watts from the grid all the time or does it pull whatever the psu is pulling? My psu at most only pulls 450 watts at any given time. My system is 9700k and rtx 3070.

    • @chrisl2090
      @chrisl2090 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      865 Watts is what the battery is capable of during its active cycle. This isn't what is always being drawn from the power grid. What ever your Current setup is drawing is what is being drawn from the Power grid.

    in your review the ups can be seen outputting 243V when the input voltage is 243V.For sensitive electronic devices,the safe operating voltage is 200-240V.Do you think your equipments might get damaged if they are subjected to such high voltages (>240V) for a long time?
    Being such a costly ups,i think it would have been good if it had the ability to step down such high voltages to safe levels when it exceeded the 240v mark.

    Can you help brother? I have a rtx 2060/i59600k and i use 750watt cm gold psu. And i have a ups but the problem is when my pc is idle and not using any power it can easily handle power cut but when i play high end games when my gpu and cpu goes above 80% it doesnt handle it. It just restarts my pc so what should i do? Will this ups help that problem?

      It's not supplying 243V, but getting 243V from the wall. It will be supplying a more stable voltage ofc.

    Nice video.... I've question though. What is the supply in milliseconds you would need here to last longer with household ups inverter power. Since I Have a zebion ups running at an ups inverter at home to backup the whole house. but my rtx 2080ti ryzen 7 3700x ups seems to shut down the whole pc after main supply COMES BACK( please note during failure pc runs fine just like every other household appliances and I'm gaming too), Even though the remaining household home appliances have been working fine showing no weired signs. What are your thought... certainly I've a video of making my build from scratch. just in case if you wana check.... Any thought 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

      I believe transfer rate of a ups is what it is called and it ranges between 1200 milliseconds for a build like us 3700x and rtx 2080 ti gaming x trio. It's scary everytime I watch it die. Please answer asap, if you know what is going on. Thanks in advance
