Yep. There was an unsolvable board in there and I hate to go past such a board without first checking in with Master Jin. If Master Jin couldn't solve a board, then I know that it's safe to move on to the next board .... especially in a long game like this where one has to clear FIFTEEN (15) threes (3s).
