After playing Deponia The Complete Journey, and Doomsday, it literally became my favorite game.
I don't want series to end! Give us more! You can have Goal saving Rufus with cloning machine, and then they can have adventures to Utopia maybe.
I wouldn't mind playing as Goal one part of the game where she has a quest to save Rufus, basically Goal has to do what Rufus did several times in first three games and that is to save him. There is so much potential for a great story and adventures of the two.
I love Daedalic, you are the best game studio.
I think Chaos on Deponia is my favourite

Well, that's the point of deponia doomsday. It's the end. There is no happy end. And of course it's frustrating, but that's why we love it.
@@poloben9189, it's not about ending of deponia series as Rufus' journey, it is about the continuation of life on deponia and even a live Goal.

@@LewisCoraline same here, been going around looking for anything or at least a linger of hope if there will be a 5th series😥. But i got a feeling they dropped the game already since it has been years and now I'm left with a sad sad conclusion 😭.

I bought and enjoyed all four games. But Daedalic doesn't believe in happy endings. Take the wisper world for example, another great game with an not so happy ending. At least not for the main protagonist. Although the second game ending was a 50/50 and I'd call it a satisfying ending. Games are still good but it's sneaky really. They always leave you wanting more. If goal had saved Rufus from falling they'd both grow old in paradox city together. Might have been a nice nod to leave it in there that way. At least then they'd have had a happy end of sorts. You might say Rufus would try to escape I-Time but why? He'd have his "goal".
I agree, deponia deserved a satisfying ending. It didn't need to be perfect and I don't believe that a campy ending would have been realistic because of the nature of the main protagonist. But we're rewarding the Player, not the character and there's a difference. The player wants to know that their hard work amounted to something, the big payoff. When a story kind of hangs it in player's face that all of their hard work didn't really do or change the outcome, its kind of like a kick in the groin. It also cuts down on replay-ability of a game, which is in my opinion is the mark of great game design. Even if a game is inherently good, a rushed, botched, or unfitting ending will mar the memory of that game. But this is just my own opinion. Ending doesn't have to be great, but there has to be something there for the player, otherwise just don't bother.
Such a great brand.. Make another part.. it will sell.. Good adventure games are very rare..

Könnt ihr das vielleicht auch ohne englische "Synchro" hochladen? Es ist etwas störend, eine englische Übersetzung zuhören und zeitgleich den Originaltext, den man verstehn würde :D

Aber, Deponia Doomsday was very tragic! I’m an adult and I felt depressed. Imagine how the younger players must have felt! If your company sees any point in making a fifth installment with a joyful ending, do consider it. Thank you 🙏🏽
How about making a new game with Goal? (I mean not a Deponia 5 but some other series maybe). I would play.
PS. I bought Deponia 4 on current GOG.com Back to School sale and I've finnished the game just right now. And what can I say... It's the best spent money in this year for me. And even I am sad after ending, I want more.

I find it funny how you say some fans didn't like the ending of Goodbye Deponia. However the ending for Doomsday is (in my opinion) almost the same. Don't get me wrong I loved the ending of Goodbye Deponia, I just find it funny that the 2 are quite similar.
Deponia Doomsday is supposed to say to Deponia fans "the ending will be what it was in Goodbye Deponia and that's it. Stop moaning about it"

Ich glaube nicht das alle diesmal mit dem Ende zufrieden sind, weil es eigentlich gleich endet. Ich mag es eigentlich, denn es macht für Rufus Charakter Entwicklung sinn, wie sie Fan das beim fallen im 3ten Teil erklärt hatte. Ich würde trotzdem gerne ein Happyend für Rufus shen, besonders weil ich denke, dass das Orginal noch leben könnte.

Ja, das hab ich ja auch verstanden. Aber man sollte ja nicht die Hoffnung verlieren! Sonst kommt man nachher noch auf die Idee, den Planeten zu sprengen ^^

Schön wäre es wenn Sie bei einer Komplett Edition nen extra kapitel erstellen aus der Sicht von Goal. Die ist ja fast nie bei Bewusstsein:-)

+Damha Crombie Wenn der Mann deutsch spricht und eine englische Übersetzung drübergelegt wird, ist es wohl nur verständlich, dass man das Original hören möchte. Das hat nichts mit Englischkentnissen zu tun.

I've played and finished all four games.It's pretty clear that the Deponia Doomsday Prologue takes place AFTER the end of the game.Rufus created the Fewlocks,and they cause Elysium to crash.After Elysium crashed,the Fewlocks would have been released on Deponia.Since the Fewlocks appear in the PROLOGUE,it's pretty clear the Prologue takes place in the FUTURE.So at the end of it all,Rufus was the one who destroyed Deponia.So basically all four games tell the story of how Rufus DESTROYED the planet he was trying to save!!!😂
also wenn es kein neues Deponia gibt dann könnte man ja über einen spin off mit Goal in der Hauptrolle nachdenken. Das ende war ja ziemlich offen (ab hier kommen SPOILER) auser das man weis dass die es iwann auf den neuen Planeten schaffen. Und Goal war als einzige über, die über die vergangene sachen bescheid wusste (nicht alles aber mehr als die anderen). Vlt schmiedet sie einen anderen plan wie man Rufus retten kann oder man sieht wie sieh auf den neuen Planeten ankommen und was da alles passiert, wer weis schon wie die Elefantenmenschen entstanden sind^^

Hey ,Jungs. Das Ende gefällt mir noch immer nicht. Wann kommt Deponia 5 ? :P Scherz beiseite - Ich hab auch das allte schon akzeptiert :P
Ich hoffe es einfach so sehr das Poki mal seine Regeln vergisst ein dramatisches und ungewolltes Ende zu mache und es für Rufus EEEENNDDLICH ein Happy End gibt 😣 Wär einfach suuuper! :D
Könnt ihr nicht in eure statistiken gucken? Es sind doch bestimmt eh 50% Deutsche die eure Videos regelmäßig gucken, "früher" habt ihr doch auch immer eine Deutsche Version von euren Videos rausgebracht. Ausserdem ist es bestimmt nicht so schwer das Video ohne die Englische Übersetzung hochzuladen.
