They have to take cover, hold the suspect at gunpoint as they repeatedly yell at them to get out of the car on their own. Then after like 5-10 minutes they shoot out the window to get better eyes in the vehicle/get suspects attention/clearer communication. THEN they slowly approach the vehicle with the lead officer carrying armor and then get the suspect out of the vehicle. They absolutely cannot do whatever they want. Serious, I don't get it, I would have seen this in a comedy movie ok, but not in reality, much less in Los Angeles.
Some effeminate supervisors.
I didn't like the action of the police district chief. They allowed this dangerous person to make fun of the police officers
A DEI hire, obviously.
@@gillesrenaud6926wrong. Very wrong. In situations like this they can’t do anything unauthorized my their superiors in command watching and advising from the feed in their police helicopter. That’s why they have to wait until there’s no one around to do a pit maneuver, pull back when a suspect starts to engage unless they have permission to engage back, and even in other chases where suspects crash and DONT get out of the car, they can’t rush the car and immediately get the suspect out. Especially while the news helicopter is literally capturing their every move. Obviously if the helicopter wasn’t there and they didn’t have body cameras it would be a different story. But that’s clearly not the case here.
Guys maybe the suspect has a good point. She’s telling you to back off and go away. I mean since you’re gonna let her out 30 minutes after she’s arrested why even bother. Just turn off your lights and go away. At least she may start driving normal again.
Victims should sue the police
I'm not a litigious person at all but in this case 💯
Why? They didn't do anything wrong. They should sue the driver of the white van. She's the one that caused all of this.
@@jh.4770they failed to protect and serve the community.
Sue your mom
Typical American. Blame everyone but the person committing the crime. It is "societies" fault. I think they should sue you for not being an LAPD cop and preventing this. It is YOUR fault.

19:19 KEYSTONE COPS!
This is literally some of the worst police work I've ever seen.. They could have EASILY boxed her in LONG before she went onto the 405! Just appalling! They even had SEVERAL LEOS facing her on the 405 and they let her pass and go into civilian traffic! Protect the innocent at all costs. The speed wasnt even at a speed that could have severely injured the LEOS on the 405. C'mon officers, you are waaayyyy BETTER THAN THIS! 😤😤
Emotionally not well? She is an animal
This is demon posession
DUUUUUUU That's not the ISSUE HERE ---- The Cops are incompetant

Could have been LGBT A-Z. What does it matter when the criminal is a danger to to the community at large?
Never my life have I ever seen a criminal chasing the cop cars.
Will somebody think of the pronouns?!
The California cops need to go to Arkansas to be trained on how to deal with people like her, and to not be scared of them.
Fans of ASP know this would have ended within minutes of them coming on the scene... We'd have heard "TVI...TVI!!!" followed by "Show me your hands!!!" and then "One in custody..."
With a population of 3 people is Arkansas really prepared to train anyone?
@@brijmsn Actually 3 million, but what does that have to do with the fact that they definitely know how to stop a police chase far better than California ?
@@briancleveland6115 Because police chases rarely happen in a place as rural as Arkansas
@@brijmsn That makes no sense, if they rarely happen why are they so good at stopping them ? And since they happen a lot more in California why are they so bad at stopping them ?
a city with no PIT laws? THIS is exactly why you NEED to be able to stop a vehicle using any force needed... oh, they did finally try and PIT... wow, they need to be trained by ASP... sheesh... those were horrible PIT's.... embarrassing....
Why are the cops acting like they are scared of her? So she's chasing the cops? Wtf is happening?
I read thru many of the comments and most of them were more critical of the LA cops - and justifiably so - than they were of her. They were cowards and didn't control the situation. One maniac, driving the way she was, had a hell of a lot more potential to maim and kill someone by being let free to do as she wanted. If the cops took her out at the beginning of the chase instead of dodging her and letting her chase them, many fewer people would have been impacted. Disgusting!
Wow! first time for me seen a suspect following the police. JUST STOP HER!!!!
How many cops does it take
to stop one van before they kill someone? We don't know because none of them could.
I'm a 77 yr old female. I think I could perform a better PIT. They excelled in "pitiful"
Is it me? Why did the cop at 5:03 drive his vehicle out of her way and allow her to make a right turn? It even looked like she ordered him to do it out her window and he complied.
Lmao, he complied with her demands.
They Could Be Waiting On Her To Run Outta Gas.
THE UTTER INCOMPETANCE OF THE LAPD WATCH COMMANDER IS APPAULING!!! HE/SHE NEEDS TO BE PERSONALLY SUED !!!
They are afraid to damage their cars
At this point, I’m convinced 🤦🏽♀️
defund the police
Just a reminder, the supreme court has affirmed police have NO RESPONSABILTY to protect the public. So, what you're seeing is just like in Uvalde, police being very cautious so they don't get hurt at the expense of allowing an obviously dangerous person to run free until they potentially harm the public.
No way she's chasing the police, lmao @5:15
😂😂😂
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭☠️
Haha that's what I was saying too. Only in California. I bet the cops need a court order and the governor's sign off before they can put spike strips down. And if other cars start showing up, they'll probably have to call it off and let her go.
Sadly this is what has come down to, officers afraid to stop a threat with the use of violent action for fear of being sued or going to jail for bulls**t reasons.
5 o'clock in the morning. People woke up around 4 am to go to work and hustle to feed their familiy making sacrifices. Now they have to go through their insurance claims and deal with NO CAR to go to work!! All because these clowns LAPD allowed it!!

That final crash is on LAPD. There needs to be some introspection and evaluation after this. Mind blowing.
The police incompetence is astounding.
People complaing about the police but it's the government and mayor that are the problem.

The police are liable for this horrific mess for not taking care of it IMMEDIATELY
The police are supposed to protect and serve. Then why did the police car at the end, who was holding up traffic, move out of the way like a selfish scared coward instead of running into the van to prevent them from hurting the public??
they thought it was Protect and Swerve out of the way
Police unions have literally fought and won in court that they DON'T need to protect the public.

The cop that had traffic stopped should've tried to block her way instead of trying to get out of the way.
Why arrest her?.. crime is legal in California she' knows DA Gascon will release her anyways...........
There is no way the police are this stupid. They must be told to back off and let her cause as much damage as possible.
No words for this incompetentcy. They need a lesson from Texas, Arkansas, Georgia on how to stop a vehicle & not let the perp have control of the situation.
This person will be out in the morning! Gascon has a heart for these demons!
Lmao, just watched Arkansas PD end this chase in two minutes flat 😂
Never would have gone anywhere near this far on Georgia roads. GSP takes full control from start and brings matters to a close in nanoseconds. They will not back off or allow uninvolved motorists to be hurt.
