There was a champion training tournament that started after his fusion ended which awarded his skin to first place.
I managed to get it and I still cant believe it. I am so happy with it as it makes him look badass and I use G-nut everywhere!

He just popped up in a 10x and I blew every single shard I had trying to get him. Not only did I not get him, but I didn't a single Lego.
Did gnut fusion , pulled a 2nd one few days ago .. really good champ overall .. built , book and all .. both for them , just need to pull a 2nd soul for him :)

I didn't think about it at the time, but since I don't have Acrizia, I should have gone for Gnoot.
Granted I probably didn't quite register that Gnoot is a beast.

I'm guessing the a1 is the reason HH rates him very low for celestial griffin since that boss reflects turn meter effects back to your team

I've been farming Griffin with him as my dps, 2 block debuff and 1 block damage is what I need to farm the highest griffin with him as my dps
He does suffer from griffin but I used him and ninja to nuke it down fast.
You want cooldown reduction though, I used Nia and renegade. Gnut a3 and ninja a2, renegade cooldown then nia either finishing up gnut so he can a3 again or reducing the cd on renegade, or on ukko who I had as a speed booster (and to make sure everyone was up for griffin).
That team worked right up to like 80 or 90 hard, whatever had the highest griffin in the last rotation.
Using gnut or ninjas a1 would pretty much start the end of the run though with the risks of stun and speeding up the griffin.

Hey Ash, this isn't related to the current video, but I just wanted to say, Thank You! Thank you, for reviewing Kantra The Cyclone a second time. You're first video on her (If I remember correctly) was an all around "meh" feeling about her, but then you made a second video about her. You talked about how maxing her out, brought out her true potental. I don't remember you calling her busted or anything, but you made it clear she wasn't an "F-Tier" Legendary Champion.
The reason I'm so thankful, is because I pulled her very early on my alt account. I watched you a lot when I first started raid, because your videos truly are extremly imformative. At the time, I was a little bummed that out of any legendary champion, I got her. After seeing your video talking about her in a better light, I decided to rethink how I could use her efficently. Now she's one of my favorite champs on my alt. She's just kinda fun and neat (PLUS HYDRA KANTRA IS AWESOME)

Celestial griffin decreases your turn meter when his turn meter is decreased so he zaps everyone's TM when gnut uses his a1. That's why he's a 1
That's why you need to turn off his A2 on Griffin so he doesn't get counterattack going and make it worse. Even with that turn meter downside, he's still killing griffin fast
The damage he outputs on his a3 more than compensates for the turn meter drop, and CG's boost. I tried him just for a giggle because I wanted to see where he couldn't be used, as he was so freaking good wherever I tried him. Nether Spider is the only sketchy place, other than IG, but even in NS he does ok. He halved my run time in CG, even with the turn meter drop, but have a cleanser in the team. It's counter intuitive when reading his kit, but reality slaps reason in the face all the time lol. I used him in relentless, but have swapped to a more tanky broken set build so he can take a hit in FK hard.
Yeah I use him in hard 50 and he does totally fine (couldn’t test higher because I don’t have Mithrala yet to try and counter Stage66)

I am a midgame FTP player and Gnut has basically slotted into all my teams for now. My CB and Hydra team has also made huge leaps. In FK I run him with Visix which gives an insane amount of turn meter decrease.
Endgame FTP here, he's gonna be in your teams for a long time, easily the best fusion since Brogni, so glad I blew all my resources on getting him after I had spent a lot of them during a CvC.
Things to look forward to: Sub 1 minute runs in Spider 10 Hard, Doom Tower Hard bosses getting absolutely wrecked within 3 of Gnut's A3, opening up Fire Knight Hard for consistent teams (personally I struggled with this pre-Gnut), Unkillable CB teams should easily do 120+mil damage, artifact upgrade bosses become more accessible (though still just as tough if you don't have high awakened champions, and better times on normal 25 dungeons.
This is all with a Gnut tuned for the Myth-Fu CB comp. If I ever get a second one, I'm gonna build him for Hydra Nightmare.

He’s a 5 and a half! He’s unlocked 2 key ultra nightmare for me, he’s propelled me into gold 4-5 in arena, he’s on my speed spider team! He’s huge for my account. To put the cherry on the cake I even won the tournament that rewarded the FK skin. He’s so sick! Did I mention hydra!? I digress

I put mine in relentless as well. But I gave him Cruelty blessing instead. Since he's a nuker, if he has a fully 6 star blessing. He can reduce a boss down 20% super quick. Plus if it's CB or Hydra, those are super long battles as well. With his A3 doing an additional 30% decrease Def. That's a TON of damage. Since getting him, I've been able to 1 key CBUN daily easily! And that's with a 1star blessing. I hope I can see him 6 star blessed soon

Your son will be fine Ash. I had all the same fears as you, as my son is non-verbal autistic (6 and a half years old), but the school is excellent, and he is flourishing. Sure there are battles with other children and that's to be expected, kids will be kids after all. We are hierarchical animals and we must fight for our place in the pecking order amongst our peers, but that doesn't mean physical tussles, just establishing your friend circles, enemies (for that day/week), and those that are around but play no part in your life, to be ignored. This is when his full personality, and your compassionate understanding will come to the fore. Or you will turn into papa lion and fight everyone, even over small, mostly insignificant things. Try not to do that, it makes you no friends in the long run.
BTW, he will probably go through a stage of not wanting to be there, and that sometimes happens a few weeks in, after the initial novelty wears off, or if he has a bad day early on. Struggle through it, and find a reason that he can hold on to, to be in school, friend, teacher, activities he likes, and he will get through it.
As for Gnut. When you use turn meter drop on the Celestial Griffin it drops the rest of your team's turn meter, boost it's own, and potentially stuns the target. However, the damage output by Gnut more than compensates for all of this and some. Just bring a fast cleanser with you for all the stuns he gets from hitting with his a1 or the runs go on a little longer. It's counter intuitive to bring him in, but he halved my run time when I did.
Basically, I'm starting to understand that HH does not play test champs in all areas, and sometimes marks the homework (kit) of champs rather than actually checking it (play testing) everywhere, or he would mark Gnut as a 4/5* there too imo. The only 2 sketchy places that I've found is Nether Spider, bad affinity, and IG, hits too damn hard, and get smacked right back harder lol.

I just pulled Gnut about 10 minutes ago and I'm throwing everything I have at him to have him leveled up before the end of the day. I'm just hear trying to find build ideas.
Thanks Ash, great video. Very interested in the Iron Twins team, wish Henry had you show the team setup more for it. I cant seem to keep my Pain keepers in line and always end up losing one then it all falls apart.
For that iron twins team with the three Painkeeper what are the stats needed for them and could the Painkeepers be replaced with a renegade?
I’m sadly not that far into the game to be able to do fusions yet heck I just go finished my first fragment summon with the new force dwarf😂

Father of 2 boys who are in gradeschool. All those things will probably happen. Bullting, falls, hurt feelings, frustrations. Each is an opportunity to talk with your kiddo and help them build character and resilience. Life is about overcoming challenges. Parenting is about guiding them through those challenges, not dozing them out of the way.

So.. Based on this video.. I took Gnut out of the Reflex Gear I had him in.. And put him in my best Relentless gear. I was using him on a killable CB team.. I had his A2 turned off, and I was 3 key'ing all affinities on UNM. I just fell short of the 3 key in the Relentless, and I turned his A2 back on.. So he was even counterattacking often. The number of times he used Blessed Back in Reflex seemed to be far more.. That being said.. He isnt fully booked yet. But idk. I may be switching back to Reflex, and maybe once he is fully booked.. Ill spend the silver to try Relentless again. But youve helped me with my account enough, that even if its a total waste of silver.. I can forgive you. 😅
Ash, bro I love the NUT innuendos...I build my NUTS in Relentless too....and I am able to twice in one round...also, in reply to "where do I use my NUTS, pretty much everywhere lol

Got the FK skin for Gnut too. Although I don't equip it unless I'm actually running fire knight dungeon. Just for Canon purposes.

I watch your video's often and haven't ever commented before but had to on this one. I've been playing since the game came out. I still do not have a Husk or a Royal Guard... always drives me crazy when I hear about a FTP team with champs you have to pull at some point. FTP champs are ones that are given to you for free, not ones that have to come from a shard at some point. If these two were given away then I somehow missed it... I do have 5 CH to make up for it I guess, but it sure would be nice to pull one or both of those for the AOE HP dmg
I think HellHades gives one star only for Gnut against Griffin because that big chicken punishes turn meter reduction.

Gnut may not be a super meta champ for arena, but as a newer player he's amazing for it imo. If you have a speed booster or build him quick, opening with the A2 is amazing for me since that gives him counter attack. A lot of the time then the enemy comes in with their AOEs which instantly trigger that counter attack. If Gnut has enough accuracy and they don't have block debuffs, he almost has a guaranteed freeze on every single hero that uses an AOE first since they don't have any turn meter to decrease and that gives you 3x chances to freeze. I've had a ton of fights where the entire enemy team ends up frozen after the first round thanks to that. After that you can pick off pretty much whoever you want with the A3 and turn meter control some more with the A1. Again, definitely ways to counter this playstyle so not great in the super high ranks, but surprisingly a great control champ mixed with single target nuke and an aoe decrease attack + weaken for survivability.
Didn't go for gnut because I didn't have enough shards, but I think eventually I got enough from clan boss to where I could've made it happen if I hadn't used them during something else. I figured he would've been nerfed anyways so didn't try to make it happen and spend my resources

just pulled a dupe Gnut from a prism today. Should I build him, or Scyl of the Drakes (I get her in a week)?
I use 3 Painkeeprs, Tower, and a 5 star Geo for Iron Twins 15 and do it in about 1 min 30 secs.
Gnut is great because he does a few things great. Bringing debuffs that helps you stay aluve vs mobs, brings cc and brings the boss destroyer skill. Needless to say the man singlehandedly made me able to climb doomtower hard, do hard spider thanks to me having a aoe hex character and made all dungeon runs faster and easier to survive.

Hey ASH, that iron twins team ur showing. Do the 3 painkeepers and helicath work with any dps? Geo just being the fastest option. Is this strategy applicable to the highest floor?
Geo doesn’t work cause helicath blocks dmg negating ego’s passive

Pulled a 5 star perfect soul randomly out of 3 small shards at start of fusion... made it a easy call to go for him :)
50mil per key for my unm unkillable team, Gnut does about 18 million. Wish I could build a 1 key team

I have the same composition for Iron Twins, but as DPS I am using Coldheart.
I don't think it's a level comparison. How long ago did the fusion for Brogni happen? As new content premieres new Champs rise to meet the changes. Case in point? Muckstalker and Gnarlhorn.
I use him against the current green affinity griffin. Gnut A3, Ninja A2, Yumeko resets and do it again. The bird melts away fast.

Iron Twins has damage reduction on mutiple hits thus the 94K hit. Nut is a top 3 fusion if your midgame. Molly and Tormin carried my teams early game. Maybe Helicath might be better, but Nut changed my account. You missed a tournament for the skin. It's 🔥. Amazing champ!!!

Gnut is insane on hardest level of Celestial Griffin DT hard. I run him in full auto team that beats the crap out of birdy in 1 min. And yes, Gnut is MVP of that team (ok, with champ whose name we don't mention, but it starts with N and finish with inja). Bird doesn't get her 4th turn and it's already down.

Ash... find out what the teachers teaching. Find the school board curriculum, talk to other parents (all types and backgrounds) for the best insights... nothing is more important now, and pull your kid out of school if there's any nonsense. Do not let anything slide. Period. I've seen your vids a son's cameos... you are an awesome dad... and you're gonna be great evermore as long as you don't omit slow and casual adjustments of your son's upbringing. Love this vid on NUT btw.

I absolutely love gnut. Hes in my fk hard, spider hard, and hydra brutal team. I have him in savage speedy with 450 resists to mischief tank.he still does max dmg. Hes so amazing. He's got to be the best fusion champ

His A1 turn meter reduction stuns himself against Griffin. I mean I still use him there too but its definitely not ideal. I think the Life Drinker passive is much better than Arcane Celerity, especially if you are taking Master Hexer and trying to extend your debuffs. I have been playing around with Helmsmasher on him for more ignore defense on top of his A3 reducing defense, Giant Slayer is probably better but I use him in Arena as well so went with Helmsmasher.

there's a lot of champions in the game, way more than we can build and play with.
already have decent teams for all the content in the game, Gnut is just a "win more" champion, on my account.
He's a top tier champ on any account and even late game account would max 2 gnuts

I use Gnut against Griffin and Nether spider too. If there is a boss, Gnut deserves to be there. I even use him in Life Arena. He can single shot UDK if I manage to apply the decrease defense.

I just got Gnut from an ancient shard and his base stats are significantly lower than what I see in the video. What happened?
Seriously, you are making me cry. I missed the fusion by 200ish point in one of the challanges because I whent to play with my daughter instead of doing dungeons. It is the first fusion I have ever gone for on my F2P account, and I am lvl 95 now so I have seen a lot. I really really wanted Gnut, and then missed it by a hair 😢 Feel like just dropping the game now.

i quit the game but i saw a video of the gnut fusion and came back specifically to get him, then left again.
I got myself Fire Gnut. It was worth the gems. There was a tournament just after the fusion.

the 5 rating to me is cause he is versatile and can be used everywhere, most great champs in raid are one or 2 area specialists.
For the Gnut v. other fusion showdown, don't fugget about the Rat King! He's useful all over the place.
