    If your plateau is shorter than ten years and then a rapid decline with water filling, could that suggest too many straws into the milkshake or what other explanations?
    Thinking cc energy - tethys oil oman that have had a rapid decline the last three years.

      Thank you for your comment. The decline is likely due to water breakthrough. Has the pressure remained constant in this field? This is likely a heterogeneous formation and much of the oil is being bypassed by water.

      @@BoffyBlunt Thank you for the answer. The quarterly reports have mentioned increased water content, in very general terms. I suppose less production 2020 lowered the pressure. As a non oilogist I gather what little knowledge I can get from a platform like this. The rest is physical principles like pressure gradients and viscosity.
