People just need to know what's there and this vid will really help. You and the other owners are all in this together and just need to get people to come down this soi.
I must admit, I’ve always walked by this Soi on the way to LK Metro but never actually walked up it. Top of my list of places to visit once we can come back!

You have to ask yourself. Why are they all interested now. Because when things get better. That will be a great soi. All down to your channel keeping it in the news. When things are back to normal. Customers who watched will want to come and be on you tube. I’m sure Martin will have a view on this!
Fab stuff happening there. Soi Chaiyapoon will always be Soi Pothole, until the road is taken down to the bed, properly paved with a central gutter than actually slopes. The holes come from water under the pavement washing away the soil that supports the pavement. The next best would be to slurry seal each year to keep the water from intruding the sub-pavement, but that's a mickey mouse fix. Any patching is a waste. This from a "table of knowledge". Cheers!

I was last in Thailand in 2019 nothing really was happening down that soi I use to have a few drinks in triangle bar but now coming up 3 years later looks a lot lot better plenty of options now could def see this becoming one of the best sois in the next few years 👍

The Dive bar looks class - as a big guy I cant sit on the normall stools for too long - so its great to see some really comfy stools and its dark so you can get up to all sorts. Defo gonna pay that a visit

It sure is worth a visit now, there is much more going on than there has in the past 2 years. The more good bars there are the better it will become as it drags more people this way.
All good lads we now need to get everyone together for archway signs at each end of the Soi. Those bars who don't want to chip in it's okay you won't get your name put on there. 👍
I miss the potholes. It gave the street character. It kept the vehicle traffic very low such that the street was almost a walking street. Now you get motorbikes and cars short cutting up through to Third road. the newest paving seems to have not connected well with any drainage

All good for me Mark, I've mentioned so often about hot-spots and now we will have on in the centre of Soi Chaiyapoon. The lads at Dive Bar are sound and we're on the same level of understanding. Justin from High Rollers seems like a nice guy too. It's all good for the Soi.

A little competition is a good thing, a wide choice a bars only attracts more people to the Soi, who will more often than not visit a number of bars on the street not just one bar. I for one can’t wait to get back, walked by this soi many times on the way to LK but seeing this work means i’ll definitely be visiting Soi poon first chance, even before LK
Not my personal favourite Soi by a long shot but I know lots of people love it. The Thai restaurant at the end of the poon and 3rd road is great though. Good luck with all the bars when opened.
Hi Nick. I can't wait to hit Soi Chaiyapoon when the borders reopens! Sadly, I think Soi Diana, Soi Lenkhe and possibly even New Plaza may be casualties as all the investment is on Chayapoon, Buakhow, and Treetown! Without a doubt, it's build back better when everything reopens! 👍🇬🇧
I had a spare but because of the casing (media pod) it takes a while to change the battery. It's a poor design tbh and this was my first time using the GoPro 10.
I’m hoping they open the bars sooner than November 1st. Makes more sense to have things up and running at least a couple of weeks before people start arriving. But if it is November 1st, I hope the assienda will host a belated Halloween celebration. Pattaya is always a great place to be for Halloween night.
Hi Nick. You may be missing something there. I think the potholes may be an asset to the soi as they slow traffic and also help distinguish the soi from others nearby. Just wondering if your customers refer to your bar being on Soi Pothole or Soi Chaiyapoon? Great video by the way.
Good video, you keep improving. One suggestion, tough ... could be a good idea to clarify where the soi is. I am not into mongering, but like a drink now and than and know Pattaya relatively well ... however, not too sure where it is. Is it a side soi of Buakhao, about halfway?

The poon is getting a lot of interest over the past couple of years..right in the heart of central Pattaya, everything within an easy walk.

Don't forget your wellies then, apart from the road surface it's a good Soi.
Historically it was a bit on the "dark" side, but really was an OK street to sit have a cold beer or two. The massage services were quite varied

Soi chaiyapoon has great beer bars, gentlemen's clubs, massage shops, restaurants,a bookshop and moderately priced hotels.
Top drawer ND! Lots of positivity on the Soi - got to energize everyone at home to get up and get back soon.

That is the big question. I think people do want come back but will they be allowed to or are governments going to stretch this out.
