I wipe my bike down before I ride and after. Takes a few minutes and I’m done. I’m not crazy about spraying the bike down with water. You get water in places it shouldn’t be and you can never get it all dry. Never use a pressure washer you force water into bearings and places it shouldn’t be. If you want to wash it with water just use the pressure from a regular outside faucet. Just saying.
The Honda spray cleaner and polish works awesome for sure. I’ve also used bike spirits spray cleaner and polish with the same results. Which ever is available and cheaper is the one I would go with
I need help?? V4-R or New FireBlade ? Iam sooo torn , i own a V-4 StreetFighter already, just sold the FireBlade-SP2, should i stay with Honda or go V4-R
Michael Kastner just saw a review from a few people. New fireblade is trash. No power, awkward rider position, no power in low to mid range. Top end power is soft. V4r is a track bike. It likes to be in a turn more than it likes to be going straight. It’s a weapon and I wouldn’t street one. I would street a normal V4 though
Careful spraying WD40 straight onto the back wheel, I would at least spray it onto a rag before wiping the wheel, if that gets on the tyre....that’s an expensive bike to throw down the road!
LOL the mechanic that put on a fresh new Q4 on my 17 Daytona 675R brought me back to say he did a good job, and that he cleaned the wheels and chain for me! I was pretty thrilled. I asked what he used for the wheels cause they looked DAMN good. He showed me the WD40! I was wowed! We were talking and he then WIPPED THE TIRE DOWN W/ THE SAME WD40 RAG!!!!! I Saw the shine build as he wiped it and was yelled STOP! What are you gonna kill me!? Not only is it new but now its got WD40 ALL OVER it. UGhhhhh It now has 50% life on it. It never killed me. But ironically enough its being traded in for a 2020 V4S this Thursday. I just realized i need new stands to accomodate the single sided swing arm.
DEAR FRIEND, I THINK THAT THIS IS NOT ABSOLUTELY THE BEST WAY TO CLEAR YOUR DUCATI. ABSOLUTELY NONSENSE. HIGH PRESSURE WATER IS NEVER RECOMMANDED TO CLEAN A BYKE. YOU MUST WASH BY HAND, WITH DELICATE SOAP. MORE TIME BUT A BEST RESULT. GREETINGS.
I’m with some of the others and prefer just regular hose rather than pressure. I use simple green to degrease and it looks like new afterward. One note about using WD on the rims, it could cause a problem if you tape your weights or put new weights on? I would definitely clean it all off before mounting new tires. Food for thought 🤙
Troy - you so need this, takes the paintwork to a different level - Poorboys Nattys Red Paste Wax
Hands down the best wash how to video.
Easy and effective.

Had my white 959 ceramic coated top to bottom
So to lube the chain like that all you need is 3 hands!
That's what I was thinking

why would you lube the outside of the chain thats imo a no go, the only surface that needs lube is the inside of the chain.
Who's V4R is that?
I love my V4S, but god damn the V4R looks so much more aggresive!
Super helpful homie. 🙏🏾
could you make a vid for how to change side mirror for v4? cuz I just broke it today :(
Use this video th-cam.com/video/_3CJceLgHgQ/w-d-xo.html
how do you do the front wheel, especially the inner parts, without getting muck on the discs?
joxk93 gotta be really careful. If you do hit it, use brake cleaner on the rotors but don’t get it on anything else
I use to cover the discs with a towel while doing this.
Great video. Question will the rim on the v4r fit the v4? Or is it a different spec
They’re the same.

Surely bit of brake cleaner would be better than wd40 really don’t get it
Ceramic Coat the V4-R
can i clean the chain with soap and water and apply wd40 afterwards ?
Definitely non use sel-wash with high pressure gun...wash with less water possible and with you own hand
