I worked one of the limes in the roof of the Spa Pavilion in Felixstowe in the 70's. They both headed a Summer Show one year so I got to see them perform eight times a week. I never tired of hearing Don sing Whispering Grass during the set. Also they were both lovely men and very friendly with all us stage crew. Great memories.
The poor bloke was left in his final years singing in shopping malls and trying to flog his CD's and no one knew who he was. He lost so much money due to a lack of repeat fees.

I know it is a shame he wasn’t it ‘Allo ‘Allo! or You Rang, M’Lord? or Hi-de-Hi!
wrong he used to sell his records in the 70s and 80s..aswell used to tour woolworths
amazing man
bought this 45rpm when it came out
Why can't the whole interviews be put on?
