Why did Ryu hated on the chat and called them liers, when he actually did started a no-skip run? He cud just break the rules and noone would care. I know this was used in like Paper Mario games, but imagine they add like a 3D Mushroom where when you have it, you can turn everything into a 3D platform and walk in any direction and not just left-right
I'm rooting for a Mario Maker 3... I don't have the skills to play these romhacks so playing the normal levels in SMM still gives me the ability to pretend I have the skills of Ryu or Oshi

Whenever somebody donates that much money I always wonder if they are a kid or somebody who just wants attention, then later they cancel the transaction. Ryu said once he got a donation for $10,000 and the description said "Fuck you mom" 😂
I wish for a Yoshi Equivalent with Yoshi Island(Snes/Gba), Story, Woolie World and i think im missing a few of the newer ones i cant remember at the moment. Yoshi island alone has alot of assets and combinations between the different Color Yoshis, the Unique Bosses, the unique enemies not seen anywhere else i.e the Bandits, Tap Taps, just to name a few, the different Backgrounds and all the creativity that can come from the power-ups and the transformations. My nostalgic personal favorite being the music and background combination from the beginning of stage 6-6 and the whole Sky-Goonies(Bird Enemy) from world 5 also the Raphael the Ravens Aesthetics as well. As added bonus they can do a Yoshi/Birdo Tag Team tandem since both have a similar abilities.
"Kirby Maker" would actually be really dope. While Kirby doesn't have nearly the mainstream popularity as Mario, the Kirby games never explored the possibilities of different power-ups and mechanics as deeply. It would really open up a whole new world of fan-made content possibilities.

I'll update when I release a demo of the project. It's been 3 years I have worked on it. I'm also hesitant because I hear that nintendo is notorious for suing people for copy right infringement.
10:47 Don't skip coins like that. At the end of that level you could have 99 coins. In case the next level don't have 1-ups, but coins, you will then get at least one life. And that can help you a long way.
Idk if anyone else agrees with me but when ryu was talking about Nintendo making a new 2D Mario game, I think that Nintendo created levels in 2D Mario games just have a certain charm or feeling that Mario maker doesn’t have
New gimmick for Mario 3: Hide giant coins on each level that take you to a minigame where you can collect 7 "discord rubies" to transform into a coin-powered Quickie-Mario.
I also wish nintendo included the better version of the SMB3 music from the Gameboy Advance version, or that other device I forgot the name of. If they make an SMM3, I'd hope for that as well as the option to upload your own mp3 files to use in levels (and they can do a no-copyright infringement rule; less important but also good would be an automatic volume adjuster so you can't deafen players with maxed-out gain).
There's so many ways to end a run for even the Best players. 500 second speedruns, mid-air jump spam, those mixed with trolls etc. Honestly, the fact he makes it past 500 is even beyond comprehension lol.
To be fair to Ryu, yesterday is still 86400 seconds ago. Now that does seem like a bit of a bloody long time to not be moving about with our favourite Italiano-Japanese Mascot.
I think Sonic the hedgehog maker would create enough revenue for Nintendo as well I just wanted to mention that. I think link also has enough to make his own Zelda maker game. But you are correct I don't think that Metroid has enough of a lucrative following to make a maker game out of it
33:40 I heard a rumour that Nintendo stopped updating Mario maker 2 because they realized that their multiplayer servers were bad and they had plans to expand on that with DLC stuff and instead of having a bunch of patches and updates their putting it into a whole new game aka Mario maker 3. This isn’t uncommon as they did this for breath of the wild. They had so many dlc ideas they just saved it for breath of the wild 2. Fingers crossed 🤞

I don't see a 3d maker being a good idea. Its just so much more difficult to design decent 3d levels compared to 2d, and look at the garbage just in 2d.

If Nintendo did everything that seems logical to do, they would lose the mysticism and would make Mario, Zelda, etc pedestrian. They know they hold back on seemingly “obvious” things
"Find the hidden crap" or "guess the password" are the worst kind of levels in this game. MM1 didn't have that poop (Calling those levels "garbage" is an insult to garbage levels.) because people could just download the level and find it, and they alone justify bringing back the level download just to nullify them.
I don't like smm streamers who only "like" levels in the top 1%. They should "like" levels that they like, not just the very best levels. Streamers like that come off like Mario snobs. A person made a level that wasn't complete garbo and it gave you good content, it deserves a "like".
If MM2 didn't have bad levels that pissed good players off I wouldn't watch your show, because it be dull and boring just watching perfect play all the time. Look at it like this, if you watch a guy make 100 perfect impossible shots is less entertaining than 1 good shot with a montage of 100 bad shots.
