I honestly like how sensible this story is about a parasite invasion.The aliens won almost immediately when they took over and barely any humans are left but the hosts and few survivors "negatively" influence their logical way of thinking so the chance of humanity avoiding extinction and true co existence happening might be possible.
Essentially... you will never defeat the humanity and will evolve into something new
thats the first nice movie to have a decent plot and no outlandish things happen. i like it.

Yeah those were built like tanks. A close family friends mother owned one and we used to call it the beast. You could hear it coming down the road due to its radiator fan being so loud. My cousins dad (my uncle) rolled a Volvo V70 Estate at 75 MPH. It rolled 4 times and stayed on it roof. He had a few bruises and cuts from flying glass but otherwise was unhurt. He put it down to Volvos uncompromising safety in their cars safety systems. He said when he stopped and opened his eyes he seen airbags were coming out of places he didn’t even know there were there 😂. If you’re going to crash a car a Volvo is the car to be in.

This had two major consequences: For the product, you see how Volvo aces every new test that gets added to IIHS, NHTSA or NCAP procedures right away. Because cars are build for real world safety, not to pass existing tests. Second, a giant like Ford purchased this tiny carmaker two decades ago to *learn* from their safety center, testing and knowledge. Volvo used to be an amazing car company. Now, they're only trying to be sexy and "premium". Still safe cars, but all the practical ambitions are gone and their EVs are colossally lacking compared to Kia/Hyundai, Tesla or, even, BYD and SAIC.

This was surprisingly well written though, especially in comparison to Twilight. It's still YA off course, but I like the world building and the characters.

I remember when I saw this. I actually liked it. Dare I say it was better than Stephanie’s twilight series? It was so good to me that I wish I had read the book before the movie because I’m sure it was even better.

The only host that I’m familiar with is the Korean giant monster movie where the creature kidnaps that girl on the beach. Maybe one day you can do a recap of that one. But this one looks ok

I thought this was a good movie. I really liked the eyes particularly Saoirse Ronan. Kinda wish my vision wasn't so bad so i could wear contacts to make my eyes look like that.

this is the movie that helped me discover the band Imagine Dragons through their song Radioactive, and because of that song, it spawned a fantasy world in my imagination which i hope to turn into a comic one day

In the books the aliens are from a planet with low gravity and dense atmosphere, their original host was a kind of bird. Until their planet was visited by a especies of super intelligente arachinids, who they infected. Thats how they began to invade other planets. Theres some really interisting parts where the protagonist talk about the aliens bodys she had taken and lived.
not a huge fan of the romantic aspect, but wow such a cool and thought provoking scifi story
Kinda reminds of me some SCP where some like earth planet is controlled by parasites
But this one is less powerful and keeps human infrastructure and also is just more human than that SCP

Interesting movie where they teach us Aliens are better then human. Once they took over the host, all their problems are gone, like the brain dead girl near the end. They also live in harmony, no gun violence, no war and their spray could cure any wound. 😅
