You have to look for 3 signs 1- Gregory's hands. She'll do 3 hand signs; one hand up, both hands up snd both hands down. Each sign indicates the patten the bugs (actually Dark Swarm) will follow. 2- The color of Gregory's hands. It indicates the type of projectiles she will launch. Pink are slow spiral shots. Green are fast spiral shots and Yellow are homing shots. 3- Memorize the direction the bugs come from. Initially, they can come from left or right. If the bugs came from right, remember, next time they'll come from left. This pattern goes on. Remember the directions. Hope this will help
When she holds both hands up, the middle stage and the plattforms without contact to the wall are safe and the rest not. If she holds both down, only the upper plattforms on the wall and the plattform seperate form the wall and ground are safe. If she rises her left hand, the area right from the middle stage is safe while the left area and the middle stage are not safe. This also goes the other way around when she rises her right hand. The color of the glow on the hand indicates the pattern of the bubbles. If pink, they are going to circle very nigh on her. If green, they will have quite the distance to her and you should try to get between her and the circle. If orange, they will have a similar distance as when green but also home on you. She always moves where you stand so after she made the glowing hands, move away from where you stood. After the circling orb attack, she is again going to wear you stand so move away at that point as well. Combine this knowledge to get her moving to convinient spots for you to attack where you will not be hit in return.
A lot of times when I'm standing in a safe spot she will shoot these balls right at me… how am I supposed to avoid that? I just beat her on chapter EX but I didn't feel like I was anywhere close to mastering the fight.
