Really cool but because its so tall i can see it falling and it would be better if the arms moved or at least the hands. In my neighborhood strays would demolish this thing, i would literally have to look out my window to monitor it.

He looks amazing! Though I agree, the lack of animation...no pun intended...is a little disappointing. I think maybe having some movement in his torso from time to time and having looser arms would have given some nice secondary motion.
I'd love to see him return next year with a few upgrades! Doubt it but most likely *will* be the case for the 12ft Skeleton.

I was gonna make him out of PVC and instamorph. Then I saw this!! I ran out and got one! I'm just gonna make Zero and suspend between the trees! Awesome vid thanks!! Also gonna get some red Fabric and make a Santa Clause outfit.

They're both extremely well done. Hard to put one over the other but I've been wanting Jack for so long.

These things NEVER get Jack’s arms right. I have a recreation of the puppet from the movie and his arms reach below to his knees. A cool yard decoration but has smol arms.
I wish his arms were longer but I feel they’d bobble and look weirder if they were. But you’re right Jack’s arms have yet to be depicted correctly in prop form.

Hey just to let you know I was just at sams club and they have a OU football helmet inflatable.
I would expect more at that price.
We got ours last week. Box was damaged but we accepted it anyway. When we tried putting it together the base wont go together. And the head doesnt move!!! It's going back unfortunately.
Great review, my question is can Jack Skellington operate fully without the use of the sensor? I want wanted to put him behind my gate towering over it.
Unfortunately, no. Without customization the only thing I could suggest is have something animated placed within 6-7 feet of the sensor.

Removable eyes for different expressions. Since they can't replace his entire head like the original puppet, they went the next step up and threw a little Laika at him. lol

I put mine up at twilight last night and realized looking at it there is still packing Styrofoam in his mouth. So you think it will fall out once I plug him in our should I take it down to remove the Styrofoam?

Nope. He is the way he is. You’d have to add mods to him for that.

Genuine question. Do you think he would fit into two large suitcases? I live in the U.K. and looked into getting one shipped but it’s cheaper for me to fly out and get one myself
The problem is his base. No suitcase can transport it. Everything my answer would be yes, because I think the poles you may be able to get in diagonally. Then again, you must have a major suitcase. Shipping is probably your only option.
What are the dimensions of the base when it’s disassembled please?

You could check the base in a large bag as a large item, musical instruments, sports equipment etc, and then check it. My only issue, for you would be the conversion for the electricity.

He’s very lightweight! Massive being 13 feet tall, but you could disassemble parts of him quickly if need be.
Lightweight for these types of props, just make sure he’s secure for winds.
I bought my one today in the swapmeet I paid 180 dollars wish me luck!!!
