I hit top 1000 with X-bow 3.0 a few years ago just started playing again, it definitely feels like you just constantly get bad matchups now on ladder, but Eragons the goat with X-bow so he makes it work somehow
that doesn't work for a multiple of reasons but the most strong one is that the cost for evos is different across different elixir cost cards. For example, 2 elixir for evo skellies is 100% more cost but 6 elixir evo barbs are only 20% more elixir cost.
literally just take away all of the evolution's hp and dmg multiplier and you're left with nicely balanced cards that still have the ability to be game changing but don't have ridiculous stats
@@WojtugI think with a different model it makes sense to have *SLIGHT* stat changes, as long as they don’t have major interaction changes (like cracker not dying to Log), but for example Evo Knight has a total DPS increase of roughly 40%. 40%! That’s MORE than the elixir increase from 3 to 4, plus it has like 20% more HP AND THE SHIELD. Knight Evo is ridiculous. But yes, I partially disagree and partially agree
Feel like the real thing we need to talk about the is the fact supercell stopped bringing out new cards and started bringing out evos because with new cards they can’t make as much money because of wildcards but evos is a steady money pit cause you need them to even play
For those one tricking xbow I think the only way to have success in this meta is to just learn the principles of matchups. As there are many small tricks you can do in tricky matchups to get sneaky xbow chip. Eg. When they play a melee ground tank opposite lane to ur xbow u can play any card against the side of the arena to pull out of xbow range eg if u face hound if they split barbs u can kill ones on ur xbow and pull other ones out of range to get a sneaky lock. Other tip is make most of ur cycle cards . Use them to kite stuff into the centre, by sort of making a trail of cycle cards to lead opponents card where u wanna make it go. Eg cards like mini pekka, wall breakers, dart goblin, bandit can all be countered by just skele with correct placement. Lots of positive trades will add up and eventually give you the offensive momentum where you can just keep pressuring and keep them low.
It's tough that they decide to keep down the skilled decks like X-Bow, but then again, I guess them being bad and the player being able to win anyway is what makes the decks skilled

Fact is, us players ultimately have to deal with it. Deal with it by adapting our strategy or by complaining. Play games that make you have fun. I would go as far to say, that the majority of player like when additional elements are added (not taken away) its just a matter of time, before they add a new card/evos/buffs/nerfs and the xbow (or others cards) could inadvertantly get better. Also, keep in mind that it is a statistical impossibility for every card to be perfectly at 50.0% win rate. If one card is 70% win rate, the counters will start showing up, its like an ecosystem waves come up and come down, simply inevitably. If you wanna change the game, either take the buff/nerf poll that they are running or go ask em to hire you
I agree that Xbow is not that good in the meta. But as a matter of fact champions is not the reason that this game is not balanced because every deck can have it. The thing is 3.0 already exist for so many years and if you don’t adjust the deck to the meta( like queen bow), ofc it’s gonna be bad. I hit rank one(early season) at 2018 or 2019(not exactly sure) at the furnace rg meta with a double spawner deck. Rg furnace is completely dead rn, but 3.0 is still somewhat viable I think this already prove that 3.0 is a very well-rounded deck. No deck can be tier one forever.
Bro what are you talking about "X-bow 3.0 will never get a balance where it gets too good/too bad." Literally 2 updates ago, archers were buffed to oblivion and the whole season, so many X-bow players were at the top of ladder. And even now, tesla got a buff, and knight got an evolution, and ice spirit is so good too (I know knight evo is bad for X-bow, but still good against like Lava for pressuring).
my problem isn't that xbow is bad(sure it sucks but hey atleast it gives me a challenge) my problem is despite it being bad some clowns hate on it at the SAME level as mega knight,electro giant,evolutions,sparky,firecracker,wizard etc.
