Sorry, it is impossible to enjoy having the ball go past you at the wall - even watching you it's just feels bad. Hence steps 3 and 4 are a non starter for me.
very interesting comment. now if your forehand does not need help then no worries enjoy hitting against the wall. But for players that do need to make a technical change it is thinking like this that keeps players stuck. These exercises are easy to do..you can complete this within 20 minutes and your forehand would dramatically improve over time...honestly there is no good excuse not to do this
