I had a dream I was at a Bob Dylan concert ..next morning I bumped into someone that told me they had a spare ticket for Bob Dylan concert I went and I was sitting in exactly the same seat image I saw in my dream with and arch ..never worked that one out as I had not been inside Earl's Court arena ...it blew me away .
My dreams are like a movie...I wish I could somehow record them and play them back because they are so vivid and I dream in color. NOT always happy, just vivid.
I believe your dreams inform yiu if what's sometimes deep inside. I have personal experience of this. It shaped my thoughts and I changed my life path. 😊
Thank you for sharing this🙏🏽 I’m thankful for Doctor Jandial’s willingness and passion for sharing his knowledge. I find myself quoting him often about his perspective on resilience, emotional regulation, and brain health. His life journey as he describes it, has been simply fascinating so far.
I suffered really bad constant nightmares has a child..i grew up witnessing severe domestic violence on my mother..she died in 1979 ,and I dreamt of her death 3months before she actually died, the details of my dream were the same as the real event..i have very vivid dreams and occasional nightmare now Im an adult,I was diagnosed with PTSD. I also believed there is something very spiritual going on too..Im a deep and sensitive person who sometimes feel things that others may not..I really think that I have some psychic abilities but it scared me so I didnt develop them to their full potential, but I do know there is definitely some higher consciousness than this world..
The introspection he talks about from dreams is driven by the unconscious rather than the persons brain. I appreciate the simplistic explanation, however dream psychology has been understood very well since Carl Jung brought this mythology to the world as ‘analytical psychology’ in 1912. The brain cannot have access to the material provided in dreams because the ego is the driver and modulator of conscious life. The unconscious world provides the symbols, metaphors and archetypes in dreams and they have an important spiritual meaning - they are guidance for the psyche. Those who look within and do this inner work achieve individuation and benefit from the connection of one’s own nature, the world and their place in it.
What a rambling discordant discourse . No real insights on the neurological process …. He’s thinking on the fly, stating the obvious and some odd cookie cutter extrapolations . Think interviewer has zoned out & is realising he ain’t really bringing anything profound or scientific to the topic .
I had a dream that my father who was healthy at the time was ICU . 3 weeks later he had OpEn heart surgery and went to ICU. I also had 3 dreams my dog died and with in a few weeks he became I’ll and died
Amazed you haven’t got millions of views for this as you it’s priceless and relevant to everyone

Referring to dreams as 'threat rehearsals' and our 'nocturnal therapist' from now on 💤
Fascinating conversation. Thank you to both of you 🙏

It’s a mystery. I love that a scientist is open to looking at a non-concrete subject.

This is brilliant
I’m even dumber than I realized. This has mostly gone completely over my head. I enjoyed it. But I only understand a small bit. Lol

A neurosurgeon feels dreaming is a vital part of being human…do we need a professional tell us that?
