This is a bad drama
It's creepy, not funny. The guy adding the door to be able to enter her side of the house anytime he wants...and the time he went in and she was using the chopping board and he hid when she looked around as if she heard something?! This is not pursuing a love interest and can possibly promote this behavior in real life as something favorable that a girl (or boy) will like. His friend asked if he built the doorway to peep...well, what else could it be for - she doesn't have special needs (even temporarily) where this would be a viable solution to provide aid. As an excuse he enters at any and every noise. She would have to creep around in there to keep him out and what kind of living would that be for her? He'd likely go in anyway because that's what the door is for...he's like a stalker. Ask what you want man, and let her answer yes or no. Don't just coerce her time and consciousness as if in a relationship when you're not. You're scary.
All Chinese dramas are horribly sexist and the writers seem to think it's entertaining for the male lead to treat the female like she's his toy. It's the same in all of them. Is this what Chinese society thinks is normal? They are in the dark ages.
