Yes the Casamorati line is under Xerjoff. It’s definitely my favorite house. I love & own both Naxos & Nio but really like Erba Pura, Mefisto Gentiluomo & Pikovaya Dama which I wore in Resort World this weekend.
Torino 21 is a nice fresh green fragrance from Xerjoff And fragrance du bois is a great house too. Oud vert intense is my fav signature scent/office scent

Honestly I think it's very normal to only like one or two fragrances from a house whether it's designer or niche. My collection is relatively small, but I have three Tom Ford fragrances, but there are plenty I don't like from them. I think people find more commonalities with certain styles of fragrances than they do from houses.
I’ve tried a few from Xerjoff…Alexandria II, Cruz Del Sur II, Ouverture, Accento Overdose, Elle, Ivory Route, La Capitale, and La Tosca. Accento Overdose and Elle are nice, but I don’t need them. A popular you tuber said “you need Elle in your collection. If you don’t have it, you’re missing out.” Well I beg to differ lol. With all that being said, Erba Pura is not only my favorite scent from the house, but it’s my favorite in my entire collection. It’s fruity, sexy, intoxicating, and a beast performer.
I just sampled a bunch of fragrances from Xerjoff and there are a few that I like. One is Mefisto Gentiluomo. It smells like Silver Mountain Water without the inky/metallic smell.
I thought Renaissance was mediocre at first (gave me lysol vibes tbh). After letting it age for a few weeks, however, it became so much smoother and now I really love it.
Agreed Emily. I’ve found this with so many houses as of late. Whether they aren’t maturing/macerating perfumes anymore, i’m not sure. My own conclusion is that they aren’t. I recently acquired aventus cologne, bleu de chanel parfum and Nio by xerjoff. I left them for a month after initial sprays and noticed they have go smoother and stronger
Have you tried Floris? They have some really nice scents. I like Honey Oud, Leather Oud and Neroli Voyage. And also Penhaligon's, mainly their portraits collection.
Two from the Casamorati line I'd suggest are Mefisto and it's Gentiluomo variant. The two are often compared to Creed's Silver Mountain Water. Not saying you'll love, but as a reviewer I respect I'd love to hear your thoughts and get your reaction.
Everything you said about Xeroff is exactly how I feel about Parfum De Marley. I haven’t gotten to the house of Xeroff yet, but I’m curious to see if they have anything I like. Parfum De Marley smells like everything that’s been sprayed in Macys. Hence I think that’s why people like it. Word to bleu de Chanel.

@@patchauto I've been collection niche fragrances for six years and sampled hundreds and I have some really obscure niche frags you've never heard of so I'm not a rookie. I can tell you that Layton Exclusif is one of the best in my collection, nothing smells like it. Look at the note composition of Layton Exclusif & Carlisle on Parfumo if you think these are basic frags with the usual notes. LE & Carlisle has some of the highest ratings amongst the fragcomm on fragrantica, voted in the top 100 on Parfumo.
Naxos smells closer to pure havane by mugler than uden smells to Edition Blanche. I suggest you try them side by side, uden is actually more similar to allure homme sport actually.
My favorite house is Xerjoff and in my opinion their level of quality is one of the very best.have 38 of them.We all have different tastes and noses for sure.
With the last sentence you have described the brand to the point ;) They have a loud marketing and with the focus on presentation. Everyone should question themselves: do we collect the fragrance or just beautiful bottles ;) In my country I see many people who sell their Xerjoffs after a few weeks with only 1-2ml sprayed on.
I've had more misses than hits with xerjoff but when it hits it really hits :). Cerjoff just has SOOOO many. Alexander 2 is ehh to me, I think it's fine but it seems boring yo me. 40 knots was ok. Uden is ok. More than words is right up my alley, ivory route is good. The don (not a sexy compliment getter) is real nice but probably more old manny. Richwood is nice but I've only had samples. I'd say there are more misses than hits but when it hits, it hits. Naxos is awesome too. I think the benefit of niche is that they dont always go safe so you're more likely to find many you dont like but also able to find one or a few that really blow you away.
Try tony iommi monkey special from xerjoff!! You will LOVE IT! The bottle is sexy AF too. Monkey Special gives me Carlisle Vibes but it smells better IMO and i own both.
Great commentary. How I feel about xerjoff and I was duped a few times due to the xerjoff shills out there. I bought the fragrance and was disappointed. Lot of these shills just exclaim "oh my God, dreamy , first comes the bergamot, then you get hit w the coffee, then you get hit with the boozy, awww, and then the leather comes in.." And I'm like trying to even figure out past two notes I smell on it. I dislike when these shills just run down the note list on fragrantica as if they are actually experiencing smelling them. Lot of these you won't even detect half those notes. I prefer listening to reviewers who actually talk about what the fragrance makes them feel, reminds them of, what descriptive picturesque expression of their personal journey with it, whether it works for them or not. If I want to hear a list of notes being described I wouldn't waste my time on the video and would just read the fragrantica then.
My favorite Xerjoffs are Naxos, Erba Pura, Fars, Golden Dallah, and Casamorati side: Bouquet Ideale and Dama Bianca. The fragrances from the house are definitely an acquired taste type of line.

Naxos is literally a Pure Havane clone a lot of frags from the house are inspired by other frags but I wouldn’t fully compare them. Overall imo great house that takes some dnas to the next level
the only niche house where more than one fragrance worked for me was diptyque- tam dao edp, eau duelle, and tempo. for xerjoff, i’ve only tried dama bianca and italica. DB was a total winner but italica? instant headache/too sugary sweet - and i love gourmands! 😂 i’m trying out apollonia next but i’ll keep my expectations realistic 😅
Well I think you will love tommy ioe for the summer Torino 21 ritchwood is a heavy hitter for the winter if you like spice boom and wood sent you should try it the don is really good I didn't like it at first Im not a fan of pepper but it got me a lot of compliments I personally love wearing colon but let's be real we all wear it for others that's what it boils down too
That's the main reason I bought Uden because I love Chanel AEB , but to me Chanel had a garbage longevity and I could not smell it after 10 minutes . had to apply 10 sprays to get any longevity . with Xerjoff I use 3 sprays and I can smell it 5-6 hours. . Also, Chanel is way too synthetic to me after Uden. I own 11 xerjoffs and I love them all. Sold most of my collection because I pretty much all I wear is Xerjoff. I kept some designers just for dumb reach and causal wear because I wouldn't wear Xerjoff in any causal situation

Niche isn't designed to be mass-appealing, and whatever reviews you watch, read etc. it's only their opinion and even when the notes of the fragrance sounds like it should be a really nice fragrance, i find the smell is always different to what you expect....some in a good way and some in a bad way....! I sampled Roja Parfums Elysium Cologne, and i absolutely loved it, but i re-read the reviews and the longevity was quite poor, so for me to spend £245 for an awesome, fantastic scent that i absolutely loved, and was the best i had ever sampled was a big no no to me...! I also sampled Dior Tobacolor, which i was really looking forward to, only to find i absolutely hated it...! To my nose, it had this awful pungent smell, with no fruit notes, which lasted on my skin for 6 hours until i washed it off...!
Melissa - i think you've hit the nail 'bang on the head' - niche houses are not designed to cater for everyone, in fact, quite the opposite. I too love Naxos, and sampled Renaissance hoping i was going to like it, but i really didn't...! I love citrus, fresh fragrances, even those that aren't mainstream, but Renaissance wasn't pleasant to my nose at all. I guess this is 'niche' perfumery...which isn't designed to be 'mass-appealing' I also sampled Dior Tobacolor which i absolutely hated...! To my nose, it had this awful pungent smell that lasted throughout the duration i had this on my skin (4-6 hours before i washed it off) with no fruit notes at all..! I even went to a different Dior counter to sample a different bottle, but it was the same...! I love tobacco scents, especially Naxos and Herod, and i was almost going to 'blind-buy' Tobacolor, and as much as i was really looking forward to sampling this, i really didn't like this one bit...!!
In that case Naxos is basically Pure Havane from Mugler. I guess you haven't smelled Pure Havane before? It smells exactly the same and lasts just as long if not longer than Naxos.
Naxos smells good, but it doesn’t last long. I barely smell it after a few hrs. And I have Alexandria II, which smells OK, but it last such a longgggg time…much much longer than Naxos.
well the only thing that have to say against xerjoff is that they have 100rets of fragrances no one have the time and budget to sample them and form an opinion i am sure that you will fab more in the future
I hear you on a lot of this stuff, as I'm no fan of "challenging" fragrances in any way, but I disagree about when niche fragrances have similarities to designers. There's times when they're too similar, but I like a lot of sort of "designer style" niche fragrances for one big reason, performance. If you're paying up over 200 for most of these, your online shopping game needs help, and I'll gladly pay more for a fragrance that is going to last all day vs the 4 hours I get out of 90% of designers.
I feel the same about Xerjoff. I want one in my collection but can't seem to find one that doesn't remind me of something else. And I don't like Naxos, it's unwearable sweet.
I think this is a great video. I never understood why you had so many youtubers and other people on seemingly loving a lot of fragrances from a lot of brands. I have the same feeling about the brands you mention. Most of the time 1 or 2 are great. I smelled quite some Xerjoffs, and a lot of them I won't even were when you get hem for free. I guess everybody has got their own taste and that is great. To me Roja was a bit different, not that I like every fragrance, but to me it seems that he puts more effort in finalising every fragrance, while with a brand like Xerjoff (and definitely brands like Mancera, Montale...) they keep putting out new and new stuff. From what I have heard/read it takes time to perfect a masterpiece fragrance, so putting out one after another seems impossible if you want great fragrances.
If Uden smells like Edition Blanche, and performs way better, I'd pick that one up, because Chanel's starts with harsh lemon and after that there's a 2-3 hours of magic and then it's gone. The key is performance, if the scent doesn't last, it may be cheaper, it may be Chanel but it's a big NO.
Performance is not everything, though having a great one a welcome, i say that you atleast gotta have a performance that suits your needs, for me I don't need 10+ hours 7-8hr is perfectly fine But paying $150 or more for a scent that is 4-6 hours long is just a ripoff 😂
The problem is integrity in craftsmanship. Xerjoff doesn't make jeans, leather goods or footwear. I feel when L.V. just wants the fragrance to smell good, but lacks performance so ppl will use more. Xerjoff i can smell the passion in craftsmanship. IMO just me
I feel exactly the same way, every house I only enjoy 1 or two. Xerjoff is only Naxos, pdm is only Layton, nishane is ani & wulong cha, initio is side effect & musk therapy.

Scent of Peace, Chez Bond, Hamptons, Brooklyn, Eau de New York, New York Nights, Greenwich Village, Lafayette Street, Sutton Place IMO are worth trying. Everything else 🤮 Bond has some of the worst smelling stuff I’ve ever put my nose to

Wow Xerjoff has so many many many fragrances that you have to try. Try Symphonium, Richwood, La Capitale, Cruz del sur ii, Casamoratti line as Dolce Amalfi, Italica, 1888, Lira etc. Also the JTC line, like More Than Words, 400, 40 knots etc. You will love all of them Melissa, I promise you. I know now what you like and don't of watching your videos. Uden is probably my least "like" fragrance of Xerjoff.

Melissa - i think you've hit the nail 'bang on the head' - niche houses are not designed to cater for everyone, in fact, quite the opposite. I too love Naxos, and sampled Renaissance hoping i was going to like it, but i really didn't...! I love citrus, fresh fragrances, even those that aren't mainstream, but Renaissance wasn't pleasant to my nose at all. I guess this is 'niche' perfumery...which isn't designed to be 'mass-appealing'
I also sampled Dior Tobacolor which i absolutely hated...! To my nose, it had this awful pungent smell that lasted throughout the duration i had this on my skin (4-6 hours before i washed it off) with no fruit notes at all..! I even went to a different Dior counter to sample a different bottle, but it was the same...! I love tobacco scents, especially Naxos and Herod, and i was almost going to 'blind-buy' Tobacolor, and as much as i was really looking forward to sampling this, i really didn't like this one bit...!!
In that case Naxos is basically Pure Havane from Mugler. I guess you haven't smelled Pure Havane before? It smells exactly the same and lasts just as long if not longer than Naxos.
Casamoratti Fiero - fire :) Doesn't last long, but boy it smell great, like a sweat lime candy soda :D
Naxos smells good, but it doesn’t last long. I barely smell it after a few hrs. And I have Alexandria II, which smells OK, but it last such a longgggg time…much much longer than Naxos.

I smell Naxos on me 8hr+ later. Sometimes even overnight. Maybe it's a body chemistry/pH thing.
This has to be a troll, or your nose doesnt work. I can smell naxos still on my skin after showering and scrubbing with a luffa.
well the only thing that have to say against xerjoff is that they have 100rets of fragrances no one have the time and budget to sample them and form an opinion i am sure that you will fab more in the future

I hear you on a lot of this stuff, as I'm no fan of "challenging" fragrances in any way, but I disagree about when niche fragrances have similarities to designers. There's times when they're too similar, but I like a lot of sort of "designer style" niche fragrances for one big reason, performance. If you're paying up over 200 for most of these, your online shopping game needs help, and I'll gladly pay more for a fragrance that is going to last all day vs the 4 hours I get out of 90% of designers.

It depends of niche brands, some are very expensive with bad longevity
I feel the same about Xerjoff. I want one in my collection but can't seem to find one that doesn't remind me of something else. And I don't like Naxos, it's unwearable sweet.

Even Pure Havane came before Naxos, and it is almost exactly the same :( Xerjoff is really expensive and it is not my favorite.

I think this is a great video. I never understood why you had so many youtubers and other people on seemingly loving a lot of fragrances from a lot of brands. I have the same feeling about the brands you mention. Most of the time 1 or 2 are great. I smelled quite some Xerjoffs, and a lot of them I won't even were when you get hem for free. I guess everybody has got their own taste and that is great. To me Roja was a bit different, not that I like every fragrance, but to me it seems that he puts more effort in finalising every fragrance, while with a brand like Xerjoff (and definitely brands like Mancera, Montale...) they keep putting out new and new stuff. From what I have heard/read it takes time to perfect a masterpiece fragrance, so putting out one after another seems impossible if you want great fragrances.
I guess you have never tried pure havane from Thierry mugler since it smells almost identical to naxos

If Uden smells like Edition Blanche, and performs way better, I'd pick that one up, because Chanel's starts with harsh lemon and after that there's a 2-3 hours of magic and then it's gone. The key is performance, if the scent doesn't last, it may be cheaper, it may be Chanel but it's a big NO.
Performance is not everything, though having a great one a welcome, i say that you atleast gotta have a performance that suits your needs, for me I don't need 10+ hours
7-8hr is perfectly fine
But paying $150 or more for a scent that is 4-6 hours long is just a ripoff 😂

The problem is integrity in craftsmanship. Xerjoff doesn't make jeans, leather goods or footwear. I feel when L.V. just wants the fragrance to smell good, but lacks performance so ppl will use more. Xerjoff i can smell the passion in craftsmanship. IMO just me
You really need to sample RICHWOOD and IVORY ROUTE.
I feel exactly the same way, every house I only enjoy 1 or two. Xerjoff is only Naxos, pdm is only Layton, nishane is ani & wulong cha, initio is side effect & musk therapy.
More than Words, Alexandria II,Naxos and IOMMI for me. Others ... don't care enough.

Scent of Peace, Chez Bond, Hamptons, Brooklyn, Eau de New York, New York Nights, Greenwich Village, Lafayette Street, Sutton Place IMO are worth trying. Everything else 🤮 Bond has some of the worst smelling stuff I’ve ever put my nose to

Crazy because her initial videos of Alexandra II gave the impression that it in some ways smelled even better than Nazis. Crazy how fickle peoples noses can be and just goes to show that you have to try things for yourself. Also, am I the only one who thinks the dry down of Cedroit Boise smells like an ash tray?

Wow Xerjoff has so many many many fragrances that you have to try. Try Symphonium, Richwood, La Capitale, Cruz del sur ii, Casamoratti line as Dolce Amalfi, Italica, 1888, Lira etc. Also the JTC line, like More Than Words, 400, 40 knots etc. You will love all of them Melissa, I promise you. I know now what you like and don't of watching your videos.
Uden is probably my least "like" fragrance of Xerjoff.
