I think I have to agree with you,. But, one of the best things about Magic Johnson is his unselfishness! He himself truly had no problem with Worthy getting the 88 Finals MVP ...even though he arguably deserved it
Worthy did better than just one game. In this game he led the Lakers in scoring and rebounds (24 and 9), he had a great Game 6 with 28 and 9 and we all know about the game 7.
Magic should've been the 1988 Finals MVP too. He was fantastic over the entire series. Worthy had a great Game 7.
