A couple tips, if you hold the shoot button on bolt actions like the Mosin, or pump actions like the specter after you fire the round, then reload you won’t lose the bullet, or pick up a perk called bulletgrubber and you won’t have to worry about it, also iron eye will allow you to stay in sight after you shoot. Another bit of advice is to watch for the crows and the horses/ dog and chicken cages. They alert VERY FAR to experienced players and some people will hunt for you based off them
Hunt has been my main shooter for a while now, playing it just feels different. I'll be keeping a lookout for Coffee Enjoyer in my lobbies!

dynamite defusing is a trait (dauntless) you can get for your hunter

when you loot a dead hunter, you gain back a second of sight. smart to use sight to look around rq and then loot the dead body.
Hunt is an absolute gem.
Underrated game, it is so good but sadly never really got the recognition it deserved. Always enjoy seeing you play some Hunt Showdown
My favorite thing to watch you do is listen to in game sounds. All the back & forth, up & down listening…I love it.

Just FYI, @11:25 the choke cloud came from a choke beetle. It's a newer consumable that allows you to pilot a tiny bug like a drone and you can detonate it for different effects. Useful for scouting and fucking with other players, but like Siege you can also shoot them to get rid of them.
I’ve been playing this game since early access and it always makes me happy to see you come back to it, because I feel like more people need to know about this game and how far it’s come 🤠

Hunt Showdown is the best multiplayer game ever made. I’ve been gaming for decades and have played most multiplayer games, definitely all the popular ones, and hunt is the only game that I never tire of. Cannot wait for the engine update and the new map in the coming months. This game has a very dedicated player base, but deserves to be so much more popular. One of the main reasons I think that it isn’t more popular is because of the semi steep learning curve, and it’s difficulty, but it is worth learning.
Aculite, On1c and Handler- the chillest trio in gaming.
This game is truly underrated.

Returned to Hunt fairly recently, and it's quickly turned into my favorite shooter.
As you play more and learn all the little nuances, the game really starts to flow.
It's easily one of the most fun and rewarding games to sink time into. There's even a usable bow & katana!
there is a saying in the hunt community that the first 1k hours are the tutorial.
Love the collab between you and On1c. You guys are the On 1. The collab we didn't know we needed. Keep up the good work!
No idea if this will help at all, but if you're inside a boss compound within I believe 25 meters of where the main boss is. Open dark sight and u can see the boss icon blink. Red if there are hunters nearby or white if its clear. Keep in mind this only works if the boss hasn't been banished yet. Also grabbing hunters with more perk points or perks that cost more perk points and refunding those perks will allow you to grab Necromancer (solo revive and team dark sight res up to 25 meters from a downed teammate) and resilience (upon revive you are fully healed minus a bar because you died, unless you have a specific burn trait).
Most underrated game.
I watch every video of you and Jack Frags when you play this game and im always glad to see how much yall enjoy playing it. If you mained this game you would become a god at, how accurate you are now compared to your game knowledge is impressive, looking forward to the next Hunt video!
For extra immersion turn of friendly blue outlines but keep the dots above the head. Pretty neat, it's how the game used to be.

@@Aculite It can take some time to get used to and in very rare intense ocassion you might shoot your teammates since the dots opacity changes when you look towards them. Def give it a try though. Just a lil extra layer of fun 😄

I got this game a while ago, attempted to play but never had luck with friends wanting to play. I kind of just set it down and didn't pick it back up. Man it looks so fun though
1:20 you can only defuse explosives, if you have a certain perk

I watched shroud and tattytim and others play helldivers 2 but you honestly seem to be the best bro...thanks for the vids. I especially loved the helldiver solo max difficulty you did.
Hunt is SO satisfying
You actually got really lucky at 5:04. You walked through a double trap: Poison and Wires. The poison prevents you from healing yourself and stop the bleeding. The only reason you brushed it off was because you had the right perk at the right time. Magpie gives you all the buffs when you pick up the bounty. That includes poison resistance.

The bomb lance doesn’t do splash damage, so don’t have to worry about being near it, unless you’re stuck by it.

@@buttkick22 I could have sworn that there was an update a while back where bomb lance doesn’t do any splash damage, and could also swear I’ve seen in many matches them going off right next to both hunters and AI, and getting no hit marker, but I can’t find anything about it online so I’ll take your word for it.

I used to play the hell out of this game, however when they added the 'drone' beetle it ruined the game for me. Which seems silly 1 thing would ruin it for me, but it broke all immersion and balance in my eyes. Still my favorite shooter, I love the horror themes and emphasis on sounds, as well as the older weaponry, as the market in shooters is almost always futuristic or modern weaponry.

Oh Hunt, the game that will always amaze me not only by the looks, but by the sound, the solid gameplay and most importantly the absolute chaos that some fights totally are.
But as much as I love Tarkov, which I've been playing since god damn 2017 with only 3 wipes missed, I must agree the cheating in that game ... well, it made me quit this wipe since it's getting really out of hand and I mean from all the Lab raids I had this wipe? (~25) not a single one was without a cheater.
How can one do a single task, when you die seconds after spawning and not moving an inch?
Love the game but sometimes the cheaters are out in full swing and I just lose interest quick. I don't blame you for giving up. First month of wipe is always great though.
@@Aculite Could not agree more, to be quite honest I wouldn't be so mad about BSG slowing down the progress a bit, meaning the early Tarkov would last a bit longer.
Sure, being forced to run low tier guns and having no access to armor 3 and up would make a lot of people ... let's just say NOT HAPPY :^)
But in my own humble opinion, that's when Tarkov shines. Well at least for me.
When any attachment is an upgrade, when picking up an AK from a scav that has a good stock you can hardly find on your own, but I'm getting into "what if" scenarios... the cheaters are much more important issue to adress at the moment

Just an fyi, the bomblance gib initial damage is very low, literally something like 1-2 damage, barely moves the health bar. The explosion itself is a guaranteed kill regardless of where you hit your target, with one exception. If the target has the trait bulwark they will take reduced damage from explosions, and as such will JUST barely survive the explosion if they were at full hp. if you want to use the more meta option, bring the steel ball ammo type for it, it will turn the thing into an absolute beast of a shotgun, granted one without wall pen.

I always thought the weapons and animations in this game were so cool. Literally bought me and my brother a copy but it didnt stick unfortunately

I hate extraction shooters with a passion. I cant deal with the paranoia. That said, I LOVE watching videos of some of ya'll playing it. I also love the lore of the "universe" too, so cool but I just cant play those kinda games.

The "trap" you guys refer to in the second game was a beetle controlled by the other team - you can kinda hear it flying around before the chokebomb goes off. Just fyi :) enjoying all the Hunt appreciation.
