Core Class Energon Galvatron, an unamed Core Class Infernac Rock 3, Deluxe Class Double Targetmaster Quake, Deluxe Class Cyberverse Slipstream, Deluxe Class G1 Toy Optimus Prime, Voyager Class Toy Metalhawk, Voyager Class Animated Motormaster, Leader Class G1 Soundwave with 3 Cassettes and Leader Class Armada Galvatron!

I think soundwave will come with laser beak, buzzsaw and ravage, I don’t think it will be rumble or frenzy because they have those core class figures.
If that's the case then I will be in for ANOTHER Soundwave. The cassettes will be the determining factor. Isn't there a rumored SS86 Soundwave on the horizon?
@@joshuadabbs1380 I hope we get more info on a possible 86 Soundwave before we spend money on this one. If theres a small retool and brings buzzsaw, then its an insta buy.

Almost guarantee Soundwave will have buzzsaw just to tick off us that have the Netflix one and have to buy a whole other figure for a cassette lol 🤣🤣🤣
Unusually high number of repaints & retools IMHO....
i really hope buzzsaw gets some love with this soundwave. he was released with the original soundwave toy so it would be a good way to celebrate 40 years by giving us buzzsaw laserbeak and ravage. i hope it not rumble.
I was hoping for the deluxe Optimus to be cartoon accurate, I still love this remaster of the g1 toy. Really reminds me of those awesome marvel comics!

I wonder what they'll retool/recolor the other deluxes into. Maybe some obscure G2 characters? Comic exclusive?
@@GladDestronger hard to say anything for certain but they likely have something in mind for the Optimus Prime even if it’s just a nemesis prime repaint. Any repaints of Quake depends on how he has been retooled.
Really hoping we finally get a Buzzsaw with this Soundwave.
I have the Nemesis set, which I absolutely love, but it makes sense to release Netflix Soundwave again for those that don't want the 3 pack.
I hope Quake is an Esrth mode Tank, I have the Tar Cybertronian deluxe tank.
I would take a voyager GE FoC Quake in a heartbeat though.
I like the Cores, hate how they are too expensive to make with inflation now.
Deluxe Prime...I wanted the Alligator, but a Sleep mode repaint would be alright.
Slipstream-alright, but like Quake, really want a High Moon Studios designed figure.
Soundwave better come with Buzzsaw. Enemy & Glit/Blackcat are likely too obscure, but I want them bigly. Marvel colours for Soundwave would be beautiful. Waiting for that.
Armada Galvatron looks beautiful.

I’m really wanted the soundwave being in the studio series 86 Line because Evan one of the designers want to make it look more cartoon accurate

It's kinda funny how the art for the Leader Class Soundwave is clearly based on his Core Class figure.
As for Slipstream, I really wish that they would give us a Voyager Class figure of her so that it would scale with the other modern Seekers. Not to mention that it's so extremely rare that we get fembots outside of the Deluxe pricepoint. I'm pretty sure that Velocitron Override is the first Voyager fembot we've gotten since POTP with Elita.
What about Pyra Magna and Megaempress?
@Ademus2 They do exist, yes, but they were both released before POTP. Hence, there weren't any Voyager fembots between POTP Elita and Velocitron Override. Which was like, 3 or 4 years. Plus, Pyra Magna and Megatronia were both part of large, limited boxsets, so they weren't really available as "retail" Voyagers.
Kingdom wave 1 had Leader G1 Prime, and G1 Core Prime.
I am excited for straxus optimums and galvatron because I never had a chance to get the original

Th reason I don’t think ratbat is because there’s a rumor of a studio series 86 3 pack that’s rumored to have preceptor, ramhorn, and ratbat
That's studio series not legacy united this soundwave is not a ss86 one

Apparently, the budgets are really weird.
I hope that they go with Lazerbeak, Ratbat, and Buzzsaw for that Soundwave release since we already got Rumble and Frenzy as core class figures, and I dont have any of the 3 listed above.
Maybe replace Ratbat with Ravage because he is the main casette for Soundwave, but I already have one and don't really care for getting duplicate characters for the shelf.
I think the only one I might get is quake soundwave, and maybe the Optimus Prime and galvatron

bean looking for word to Quake(been collecting deceptions target masters) and Slipstream(fem con collection) hope the head on Slipstream is changed it looks too much like Starscream's head on a fembot body. Glad a mass retail version of the earth tape deck sound wave is being made released, and if they do Rumble, Laserbeck and Ravage we would have a node to Skybound comics. Finally a reusing of Buldercrash's mould would mean that in all the Armorizer we only got 3 mold out for the concept and the feels like the Modulators all over agin.
Hasbro dropped the ball again, they should have did Soundwave feom the Cybertron series the spaceship based jet
Kinda disappointed that outside of the Optimus the entire wave seems to be repaints and retools.
Isn’t that typical for the 4th wave

I’m not the biggest fan of getting leader repaints but armada galvatron is very tempting, speaking of galvatron the core class also from the box art looks nice very curious if they went for the toy or show colours hard to tell with just the jet
The Netflix leader soundwave it’s nice to get that mold out in retail again the cassettes are probably laserbeak/ravage/rumble due to Beak/Ravage came with the previous versions of that Netflix mold and 86 rumble being a core by itself could be added to fill the price difference of the voyager to leader

yeah i will probably pass on the Metal Hawk and maybe the Prime too. depends on how it strikes me when i see it in the store. Motor Master ill get and i will defiantly get the Leader class Soundwave to replace my badly yellowed Netflix version. Quake and Slipstream will need more pictures before i make a decision on those and the Galvatron is a must have since i have Tidal Wave coming. thanks for the recap,

I'm seeing a lot of re paints here. Feels like Hasbro is taking a money saving/lazy route with the transformers toy line.
That Slipstream after waiting so long for a good mainline release so far looks ass.
The only thing they retooled was the head and then they added some null rays.
Quite dissapointed.

@@antiseize11 those are some I assume they will include. If there is a Ravage he will likely be a better tooling than the horrible siege mold
3:55 I was expecting this and I'm still disappointed. Didn't even change the wings enough to remove the stupid fans that SEEKERS don't have. Also they didn't remold the chest, you can tell because if you look at Windblade its the exact same model but Windblade's got a part molded in in the rough shape of a cockpit section that's just painted grey, and that's what they painted that blue colour on Slipstream.
The only thing that's different is the wings (but not enough) and the head. Oh, and the weapons I guess.
I am disappointed with the rock lord. I mean that i understand the need to maximise the the shape, but is it really to much to ask for something like a axe head instead of a sword or a four wheeler instead of three. For slipstream, I am a fan of the Starscream like clone, so not gona scream genius for the Windblabe retool, but it is a a Slipstream so i'll buy it.

This is the most disappointing assortment of figures I can remember, both the Studio Series reveals and the pipeline ones. I was excited for Quake until realizing it was a partial off Skullgrin. I'm sure a lot of people were excited for the new mold of Soundwave that was promised, but we're not getting that either.
Sense It's the 40th anniversary i'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and say maybe with the Soundwave Im thinking maybe Enemy(Rumble , Frenzy recolor) Howlback or Glit(Netflix Ravage reolor) and if they are going big for this Soundwave(Beastbox, Overkill) Or (Autoscout) Something basic(Flip Sides) eject and rewind recolor or(Squawktalk) Laserbeak with a littlebit or retooling
