a masterpiece! if it had full 3D movement/combat like Tobal 2, MK 5/6/7, DOA5/6, Tekken 7, it would be an even greater masterpiece!! 2D movement really limits a game's potential, though its understandable its easier to build 2D gameplay than full 3D. even Tekken started out with 2D movement and VF didn't get 3D movement until VF3. although Bloody Roar had 3D movement form the start with sidesteps. though even in I think VF1 and Tekken 1 technically certain moves can change the angle and position of the characters in the 3D space.
