Always glad to see anything about the cast. A group of professional actors doing their jobs. No fanfare, no "sensational headlines", adults. Why do we turn in...a great show with great people. Good people one and all.
Damn, I discovered a few things about Mark I wasn't aware of. He really is Gibbs in real life. Always enjoyed his acting, now I can understand why. However, like so many other NCIS fans, I still miss Ziva. She brought so many good things to the series. Loved Kate too, but she was only there for a while.
As a tv star, Mark Harmon is the Michael Landon of the 21st century, from a success standpoint...In terms of his humility, no one stands taller, than, Mark Harmon...He comes from good pedigree...His dad, Tom, was a Heiseman trophy winner, his mom was one of, if not, Hollywood's most beautiful actress and his brother-in-law was the late, legendary singer and tv actor, Rick Nelson...Mark Harmon is, truly, blessed and, post-NCIS, he'd be the perfect person to play the role of an angel, akin to the late, great, legendary Michael Landon's role in "Highway To Heaven"...God bless Mark Harmon.
Too much comparison with Michael Landon, who was not in reality the great guy his later television characters were. Landon was, evidently, very cold toward his children as they grew to adulthood, and dumped a few wives too. Mark Harmon seems a genuinely nicer guy in real life. Also not mentioned in this video here is Harmon went to court against his own sister, Kristen (Harmon) Nelson, to try to protect his nephew, Sam Nelson, from growing up with the problems of a drug-addicted mother. Then-young Sam had already experienced the death of his father, actor-singer Rick Nelson, who also, allegedly, had a drug addiction. What I never understood is why Rick's brother, the late David Nelson, didn't intervene, given Dave was supposedly the more responsible of Ozzie and Harriet's two offspring. But perhaps Dave, having already raised his own brood by then, felt too old to handle raising another teenager.
Mark is so modest. He made this show however I do love each and every one of the Characters. The show would not be as huge a hit without all of them. I wish Ziva didn't leave though. She was perfect. I hope this show does last another 10 yrs at least

Damn, when she said he was 61, all I could do was cry. I know he's older than me but hearing it is just hard. I first saw Mark Harmon on Emergency! in the 70's which turned into a spinoff of animal rescuers. He was so cute. Then when he made "Summer School", he was still so cute. Then I stumbled onto "Chicago Hope" where he played a wild orthopedic surgeon and got himself into plenty of messes there. What a great ride NCIS has been. I still have to hope that Cote DePablo will return. I miss her so much. I noticed in the last couple of years on the show, he was occasionally calling her "Ziver" and I thought it was cute. From young and sexy to chiseled handsome and still sexy!!
Since this interview, we've had another 6 great seasons! It just might make it another 4! We fans can only hope! Even with some of the cast leaving, it's still my favorite show. Each new actor they bring to the set, fits the team! But I do believe that if Harmon ever leaves, that will be the end of the show!
I wish they would bring back the original actors of NCIS back it would be so good Tony diva and Toni their baby would be another wonderful show again I loved loved them all
