I would have preferred it if the Quartet stayed as the Amazoness Quartet and remained under Nelehina's evil spell and never became Sailor Soldiers at all as they would have been EVEN more lethal than ever before in this movie.

This version more closely follows the events of the manga, And in the manga, the Amazoness Quartet was destined to become the Sailor Senshi fighting alongside Sailor Chibi Moon.They were to awaken when Chibiusa completed her training and became a full-fledged Sailor Senshi.
