- Just about in time for Halloween, here is a last minute costume hack for you (can be used for fun too)! If you have ribbons lying around, why not turn them into fake hair?
Colorful hair are all the rage and many popular fictional characters have colorful hair that stand out. This DIY shows you how you can make fake hair from simple and cheap materials that you can turn into hair clips, hair accessories or even semi-wigs if you want to.
It doesn't take very long, so you could even just make an accessory to pose for a picture! Even kids could do this craft, it's that easy.

if you use a barely warm iron you should also be able to curl them
If you have a curling iron I think it should work! I tried it with a flat one and it only made them straight 😅 might just be me though :)

what is this ribbon called? preferably not the glowing ribbon. I have no knowledge on this fabric things.
The one I used was this exact satin ribbon from hobbycraft in the UK
But other satin ribbons should work too!

With the help of your tutorial I made hair for a bust with over 80 metre of ribbon.

Guys I have an idea too. If u have an OLD violin now, u can remove the bow hair, dip it in food colouring and let it set for 24 hours. I mostly use pink food colouring as it looks good on dark hair. And after 24 hours remove it, dry it with hair dryer and before this whole process, glue the bow hair before u cut it from the bow. That’s it. Don’t try this. 😂
