I was hesitant to watch this series that it took me over a year to finally muster up my courage to finally watch it. My advice to everyone who's still reluctant to watch this please do so! Don't be discouraged by those spoilers and comments about the series. For me the story ended beautifully in episode 18 with our MC living together to fulfill their dreams. Treat episodes 19-20 as a separate story of Haoting fullfiling his dreams and promises to Yushigu.
I know a lot of people literally didn’t like the ending but personally(probably unpopular opinion) I didn’t mind the ending cause for one is fits the title name of “make our days count” and it’s realistic.Spending time with the person you love but your not sure how much time you’ll have with them at the end of the day.Again I say I know it’s a unpopular opinion,but I didn’t mind it at all.Even tho it did make me cry
Make Our Days Count was the first BL that made me ball my eyes out, and I think the ending fit too. It showed how an event can change a person. How something so traumatic as that made a person do a complete 180. It also showed that life moves on, even if you don’t want it to. That no matter what, you can’t stop time and stay in one moment forever. As well as it shows acceptance, acceptance in sexuality, and acceptance in knowing you can’t change the past and accepting that one way or another you’ve gotta keep going, moving forward. It’s a beautiful BL that I kind of wish I never watched because I’m kind of broken now. But it teaches so much, and you only realize that it has a much deeper meaning if you stay for the end. 10/10 would recommend to someone looking for a great plot and character development.
@@flor5426 It depends on the individuals though. The ending was acted out extremely well but the sad ending literally ruined the entire show for me. I was half expecting it throughout I'll be honest, but I had already seen enough depressing endings that I had hoped it would turn out differently.
I'm about to do the same thing. its the only History season i haven't watched for that exact reason but after watching History 4 i decided to give it a chance Edit** just stopped watching on episode 18. It felt like a good time to stop when they were at their happiest.

Watching for the 13th time, so excited! At first I didn't want to the ending because of the ending, But I guess it does fit the title of the movie, so for everyone saying they won't watch because of the ending, please watch it, It's very befitting, Don't forget to bring tissues and a big bucket
Just started re-watching it .. but as soon as I reached at 9:04 , I just couldn't stop my tears. Cuz it reminded me of how miserable shigu's life was ..... And It's too tough watching it any further ...... .... .. you need a strong heart to re-watch it ..... The only fact is - while re-watching, you'll have a smile on your face along with ur heart breaking into million pieces again n again.
Out of all the characters, I fell in love with the mom, she was so supportive and caring of what ever her children's choices were. And she also looked sexy in those clothes-- Sorry I'll just delete myself💀💀
This series was sensual and very contemporary, the actors had chemistry and the story moved at a good pace, so much so that I didn't stop watching until it was finished. this series was one of those that I repeat and I don't get tired of watching. My vibe, pepper in the right medium. Grade 10🤓🥰😍🤩

Unless you have watched both series, you would have never seen it. I understand why you would think so, but it's not good enough for me, it's like they rushed to finish and it was an incomplete script. For such a well-written drama, the end was just terrible in all aspects, in my opinion.

I highly recommend you to watch the whole show, otherwise you'll lose a superb acting that is shown in the end and makes the series even better!!!
