It always bothered me that fleets never bothered to disperse themselves to minimize WMG attacks in this universe. They just cluster their fleets around in grids or lines so the blasts does maximum damage every shot. Should approach with LOOOOOOTS of space in between ships so a single WMG doesn't hit dozens at once.
The scenes near the end of the video where you first see ships that arent gamilan/earth/gatlantean are from the third season of the remastered series; space battleship yamato 2205 A New Voyage. This season focuses on the history of gamilas' and iscandars relationship and a war against an unknown enemy
@@Trix35k that is certainly true, however, I still honestly believe that some portions are handled better in the original. most notably being the battle of the rainbow cluster, and the battle of saturn. sure it doesn't look as pretty, but it shows both sides utilising each others strength and weakness to their advantage instead of WMG go brrrr.
This pumps me up almost as much as the UNSC arriving at Requeim or Captain Cutter's speech
