Dolores Gray really was the best thing about “Designing Woman” and this scene shows off her brilliant comic timing.I find Lauren Bacall and Gregory Peck (“Roman Holiday” aside) rather heavy going in comedy but relish every moment Dolores appears in this movie.

I agree. However, Dolores was let go from MGM after this film and I don't believe she ever made another film again.
