Being a mother of three and very emotional I also felt hesitant to watch it at first but then I read a comment that said "if you are only afraid to watch it then imagine how the children must feel who actually have to LIVE this several times a day" I immediately booked my ticket and am encouraging others to watch it too. The first step is educating ourselves and spreading awareness in order to help all the children who don't have a voice. We need to be their voice!!

If we think we can't make a difference even by the smallest of acts and everyone starts to think that way then there won't ever be much change. Every little bit matters! Closing our eyes and ignoring the children will not help. Once we learn about it we will be able to realise how bad the situation actually is and that will make us want to do something about it. The more people come together the better we can put an end to all this cruelty.

As an adult who was sexually abused as a child, I couldn’t even finish this interview without crying. It’s needed to protect our children for sure but I can’t even bring myself to watch it. I know it’s real even moreso than what I experienced and it’s heart wrenching.
I also experienced abuse as a child. I’m afraid if I watch I won’t be able to contain my rage.

The people who produced this movie the actors The producers the writers and everybody else made sure that the children who starred in the movie those who are playing the background scenes and those who were the main children in the movie Rosita and Miguel (who are brother and sister in real life that Tim Ballard was able to rescue stop back 16 2014) all the people who made this movie made sure without a shadow of a doubt the kids did not know any kind of graphic details and none of the kids were exploited or told to act out a inappropriate seen so they could maintain their innocence that was the most important thing that the directors and producers of this movie not to be told or find out why they were playing a certain seen their innocence and their child like this could prevail and could continue scarred emotionally or disturbed by the true story because a lot of these children were in their young teenage years or younger.

I just watched it yesterday and it was disturbing, provocative and mind blowing on many levels. It was a fact based exciting thriller based on a true story addressing a very real and scary phenomenon. Everyone should watch this movie. It’s not about right or left wing: it’s about saving children. And I totally understand why these big corporations want to block it: they profit from exploiting children.

My kids' father accused me of being a safety nazi because I never let the children go to another's house unless I'd met those parents and had been to that house. I made my teen daughter wear her army boots and take our big black lab on her walk to the park. I never left them alone with anyone, including doctors, nurses, etc. I stayed with them when in the hospital. If the staff told me to leave, I'd threaten to transfer my child to a different hospital. They'd back off. Stand strong with all children! Eyes open, people!
totally agree with you never allowing your kids to not visit another child's home without your knowing the parents first. Here's a true story: my then-9 year old daughter wanted to go to a neighbour's house so badly, but I wouldn't allow her to because I didn't know the parents. Well, you wouldn't believe that a few months later it was all over the news that the single mother who was living in that house got shot during the night because she was involved in some sort of drug ring. Google this story in Longueuil, Quebec in October 2013.

I wish it wasn't so hard for some people to understand the actual need and sense to these things, and how they differ from unnecessary or unhealthy ways of being over-protective, "helicopter parents" or having and modeling a lot of fear, anxiety, distrust etc. . One can avoid an attitude of outright distrust, while still behaving according to the facts, which are that until your child is an adult, you ARE responsible for their safety and everything. You DON'T know who, even among relatives or friends, may have a secret sin they're entangled in, we all know we're all sinners and ultimately capable of anything. We DO know that it's pretty easy to make a kid, even a teen, feel too afraid, embarrassed or whatever to tell their parents of something, esp. if they're not sure something happened or was wrong, just that they feel uncomfortable, esp. if it's in an early, grooming type stage. Not to mention, kids getting hooked on porn or drugs from young ages is a huge part of how we got here. Others have shared the porn connection, and as for drugs, becoming addicted to anything expensive... obviously leads u to do things or be involved in some way with those who so, u never would've thought yourself capable of, for $.

The poor kids 😢 breaks my heart that is why i protect my daughter so much she means the world to me. I feel for all the families and children who had to go through that dark time in their life glad they made a movie and getting this sensitive information out there so people can really see what is going on

Just been to see The Sound Of Freedom, it was really emotional 😢. I met some people I knew and left them in deep shock when I told them more of the bigger picture and the children kept in dog cages in their home town. I told them to tell everyone about it all and to watch it.
I cried all night after watching the movie. I have 9 nieces and 4 nephews. I pray for their safety so much. When I was younger I could never go to anyone's house , I know why now.

Sound of Freedom should be nominated for Golden Globes and Oscars for many many things. It is an excellent movie and everyone should watch it for 2 main reasons:
1st- Raise Awareness
2nd- The story, based on a TRUE story, the music in the movie makes you feel whats going on and the acting from ALL actors is just so perfectly amazing.

I watched that movie, it made me sick to my stomach to know this is actually happening, the elites in this and many other nations are all in on it. I have 3 kids and anytime we go to a public place, I scout anyone and everyone who walks near, glances at my children. scary world we live in, never thought becoming a dad would be so stressful, they are a blessing but the same time a constant worry.
I was a successful insurance agent and financial advisor, I worked up until I was 8 months pregnant. I knew I was never going back because I refuse to leave my child with ANYONE. I do not trust anyone, day cares, Nannie’s, distracted family members. It is our responsibility to protect our children. My husband takes care of us and works very hard so I can stay home and raise our babies.
The GREAT thing about this movie is that it's made it crystal clear who the good guys are: PBD, Tony Robbins, Joe Rogan, Lewis Howes.

I watched Sound of Freedom on an almost full theater. I haven’t witnessed this in a long time for a movie that’s not based on comic heroes. At the end most of the audience clapped.

Seen this film but really could not take my wife. She was victim of Child abuse this is a trigger event. This is pretty much spot on. I heard about this in the nations capital some time and heard this story. All I heard in the theater were fathers weeping. Its heart wrenching and all the media criticism is shallow. I have experience with the victims of this kind of abuse. I saw no Quanon theories proposed in the film. CNN fails to understand that the movie was created 5 years ago no Quanon....
Q was around in 2017. Look into the theory. It’s compelling and many facets make a lot of sense.
I hope the movie helped you understand her inner being even more. I watched it. It wasn't that emotional to me even though I'm usually deeply touched by these kinds of topics. I don't recall anybody crying in the theater I went to or getting overly emotional in the theater other than a buddy of mine but I think a lot of fathers probably related to the feeling of neglect and irresponsibility when coming back for your kids and seeing they're gone.

Guys this movie is off the charts. A category of its own. It’s no special effects kind of film for sure. It’s raw, real, organic and yet refreshing to witness quality content shedding light on hidden truths regarding modern slavery! My humble opinion: A MUST WATCH. Get this, during filming in Colombia they received a lead on a sex trafficking ring that was in operating. These heroes assembled a private bust and dismantled it! This isn’t part of the film. I was watching an interview when this was revealed by the producer who clarified no one was put in risk as it was handled secretly. Sex trafficking is real and creating awareness through films with true purpose like Sound of Freedom can indeed help stop it.
It was alright but a bit slow at times and the plot wasn't anything special really, it's just that its theme is politically relevant at the moment. I guarantee 95% of you haven't seen the movie because it's not on streaming services

The opening scene was very chilling. Seeing the children modeling for the cameras knowing in that moment that their innocence was in the process of being stolen. Seeing the empty room as the father frantically tries to find his children and all the other children. Just devastating.

I felt so sorry for the father of the two children; he took them to their all-day “audition” and everything was gone when returned. It took years to get them back (think of his heartbreak)… how many parents don’t get them back!
That stuff goes on daily in hollywood where they say its a photo shoot and they ask the parent to leave the room, one lady was sharing in an interview how they had asked her to leave while they were doing a photo shoot with her children,she said no and they insisted. They told her they couldn't get the best shots and expressions from the children with her there,she said fine, she took them and left. Not to judge the father in the movie but i'm not leaving my child in no room with anybody not even a doctor,dentist and even some family members let alone leave them and come back for them. Even in schools now a day how they are grooming and confusing these children through books. Parents not only have to be concerned about guns in school,but what the children are being taught when they get there.
All the castings or auditions should always allow a parent or legal guardian present at all times!

Google "pimp arrested minor". It's a very common occurrence for traffickers to be arrested, as it is for clients/johns to be arrested.
What might throw you off though is the fact that most of this phenomenon involves lots of small players being guilty of trafficking just a few victims at a time. Small enough that (while the consequences are no joke) reporting is usually only done at a local level. If every pimp they caught was front page of the New York Times they would never report on anything else.
The real problem is that everyone they catch opens the market up for someone else. Solving this problem will require accounting for vulnerable kids, i.e. those kids whose parents are either grossly negligent or complicit. Before they're trafficked, most kids are pretty much abandoned, neglected, or even sold by their parents.

Yes, you can handle it. Those of us who worked on these kinds of cases for years had to handle it and we were up against a lot of people who "couldn't" and dealt with that by denying that the crime existed. This movie is hard-hitting but it is made with sensitivity and discretion when it comes to the kids. Their abuse is not shown, their fear, confusion, and sadness is. How else were they going to show the harm? It is an achievement a lot of us have waited decades for, they did a superb job. Have respect for that and show up.
I get that and it's really good to hear your perspective on that, and thinking of it as respect for you all. BUT I'm sure some, ljke me, really shouldn't or at least, don't need to go see it. Women esp. are honestly not necessarily equipped to have to deal with the whole world's trauma. We generally are more empathetic - put ourselves in another's shoes vividly, easily, readily - Christian ones and sensitive personality ones, esp. , and doubly esp. victims of sustained trauma themselves. I was never sexually abused, or held captive per se, but it was, " in aggregate" very, very spiritually, physically, emotionally abuse-filled and complexly so, due to several younger siblings, some of whom are still basically in the situation basically, and others who aren't but are living with guilt trips on their heads. After decades of dealing with that and lots more, and taking to heart every type of sin and suffering in the world - due to health issues I'm not able to spend enough time with work or volunteering on my mind - I just have to "know my limitations" and just not watch it. For me, it's also not that I couldn't handle it, I'm sure I could. It's that I don't need to. I've already read a couple quality Christian novels centered on the topics. I already imagine it and spend hours awake at night in prayer for basically everyone, esp. in this issue, at times. I already try to help tangibly, pray for more ability to do so, & encourage everyone to stop wasting $ on make-up and unnecessary stuff that's toxic anyways, and instead set your own health, home & life up more wisely AND give to quality charities and rescue groups etc. . Not all of us need or are called to the same thing in the same way at the same time, either, of course. Someone may be in the middle of being made ready for or used by God in some other way, which indirectly affects these issues. So, just my perspective on this. One can give instead for someone else to have a free ticket, pray for it's effect, and then give to O.U.R. or other good rescue or healing & etc. organizations. One can never assume anyone u come across in daily life had a normal, safe childhood or life and so quit being so quick to be impatient, critical, judgey, condescending or whatever to them. Just becoming more filled with the Spirit and living out your new life in Christ, in every facet of life, helps all other facets AND people, exponentially.

The problem isn't that they're showing human trafficking being a problem, it's the idea that the majority of kidnappings of children are from strangers in a white van. The vast majority of kidnapping and sexual assaults are by someone the family or the child already knows, and it's often somebody in authority like a teacher, priest, or the parents themselves. This film is essentially giving out a lie of omission and making it seem like the real danger is some shadowy gang of traffickers and not someone close to you.
