  • In this day and age it's easy to get caught up in the busyness of life, but oftentimes this can cause us to miss so many opportunities to learn from those around us. Ada Wyn Parker, one of the original Rosie the Riveters, joins the show to share her many years of wisdom and experience. We also have the opportunity to meet Jerriann's grandmother, Mary Creech. Appreciate the ones you love and the stories they have to share today!

This was beautiful. I’m getting on in life, and I too regret not doing more for my nana - visiting her more often, giving her some money from my wage, buying her a newspaper subscription (she liked to read the newspaper), ringing her more often etc. Years before my nana went into a nursing home, she took off her beautiful ring, and out of all the grandchildren she gave it to me. I was deeply touched. I put it away in a safe place. 6 weeks before her 100th birthday she passed away. After the funeral I put on her ring, and I’ve worn it every day since then. I love her and miss her so much. I have a photo of her and I, and in my quiet time, I sometimes say a few words to her. I’ve even said sorry for not having been there more for her, and not helping her out more financially - as she lived on a pension. Thank you. It was a reflective and thought provoking show 🌻

I cry everytime I see your grandmother.
What I would give to spend a afternoon with her.
