I never knew this and am crying laughing right now! My European friend I met in Florida works on a beach. Whenever he saw tourists leaving their towels on the chairs to go get breakfast he had his dog, Tink, snag them and leave them in the bushes. Tink is a friggen German Shepherd!

@@girlnextdoorgrooming sadly germans are know (not my family though) to leave towels on sunbeds early in the morning, then go for breakfast in the hotel and then return to the sunbeds. So a lot of german people want to reserve the spaces by simply placing a towel there when it's obviously for all guests and whoever gets there first. It always drove me and my family crazy that other people from germany would do this. Then 13 years ago I moved to the UK and had to find out that it's like a running joke over here 🙈 oh the shame. 😄 but I have no clue if a lot of German tourist actually still do this or if it has stopped.

Haha i am German living in the US but i lived 5 years in the UK and we booked holiday in Mallorca and our hotel was full with british people and they put they towles on the sun beds too 😂😂😂😂. My family never did that either. We never hang on the pool anyways we enjoyed the beach more then the pools 😂 .Oh and signs where all over the pool not to lay out towles on the sunbeds

Yaseen Ali - I doubt a sausage roll in Spain would be as good as home - but they could pretend. Seriously though, I do appreciate just how well they work together to make the best of any situation. Their antics always have me laughing out loud. That is a true gift.

Germans (not all) like to put their towels on all the sunbeds, then go for breakfast and expect their sunbeds still available for them because they "reserved" them with their towels. I can conform this as I am german (my family never did this) but sadly we seen many others who did and who made us feel ashamed.
