Finally! Success! Thanks for the encouragement. I'm learning late in life. (49) I started drawing exactly 104 days ago. I practice daily. I'm learning mostly from TH-cam. I do many different kinds of drawings, but I've always been interested in sacred geometry. I'm really enjoying your channel. I have several more waiting in my watch later. Thanks so much. This must be nervewrecking. One mistake and you have to start over. And it looks really easy to make a mistake. 😊 The result looks really cool!
It’s a real test of patience!
The first time I made mistakes but I'm on my second time now and have gained more understanding how it all flows. Doing pretty good so far, just taking a break in the comments section :) actually I started over a couple of times with the beginning, the seed of life, but that's only because I wasn't using my compass properly. That makes all the difference :)
Finally i have drawn it. Now i can say i am pro in this. I made this endless vortex with 16 and 32 segments but it took me 3 days and 4 attempts. Good thing i learned and sevral new things with it.

7: 35 the torus is very much a 3d shape. Anything ring-shaped is either a full or partial torus, depending on whether the cross section of the ring is circle or not. Your drawing is indeed 2d, since it lacks the third dimension, height, but you could think that your shape is a "shadow" of a 3d one. This is actually one of the reasons we know 4d exists, we can also do in 3d what we do in 2d: we can build things in 3d that are "shadows" of 4d objects, such as the Tesseract or the Klein bottle. Edit: There actually is a thing called "Clifford torus" that is 4d but that is all kinds of bonkers compared to the regular torus.
