I always liked the weird ice block physics on this stage; instead of losing kinetic energy after each bounce, the blocks actually _gain_ kinetic energy instead.

Yes, you can also skip this stage by entering Warp in Turbo Tunel. Its located next to 8th or 9th wall during last part where ride becomes gradually faster
There are some weird floor glitches on Turbo Tunnel that make you go through the floors, and this seems to be the biggest problem for most people. I have noticed that it seems to help if you move forward and then a bit backward right before you land on the smaller platforms - this seems to make it easier for the game to handle the collision detection properly.
