I actually like how on some of them you can see an effective counter. For instance, the Motobug could just be rolled into, or the Buzz Bomber jumped into. That's a really neat thing about this animation.
Motobug there is similar to Jimmy from Sonic Mania (Heavy Rider's ride) while Buzz Bomber is similar to the Sonic 1 YOLO Edition ROM hack counterpart.
Imagine if these badniks were in the modern games.

Honestly this reminds me of an episode of Sonic Boom, where Eggman steals a super powerful processor that could turn any robot who's using it into a genius, which would also turn even one of Eggman's more cannon fodder robots into an actual challenge for team Sonic. This video just show's me what it would be like if Eggman made more.

It is not about intellect only. They've been technically upgraded and became faster, acquired new abilities and etc. Intellect is not enough if "you're too slow!"
Those would be good designs except for one issue...
most of them are bound to the limitations of Dr.eggman not expecting a blue hedgehog to foil his plans. They were built to keep little squirrels and bunnies at Bay not a speeding blue spikeball of destruction.
No excuse from Sonic 2 onwards, though then spent his budget mostly on the flying ships, the death egg and the death egg robo so I guess it’s ok.
@@nosoyarkano7624 As of recently I learned from the somewhat recent comics: Eggman can just carpet-bomb Sonic without warning any day, but he like the challenge or something like that.

Somehow I prefer the old artstyle of this channel better than the new one.
One of my favourite of yours! So nice to see the badniks getting a bit of revenge. :)
Alternative thoughts:
Motobug has an alternate animation where instead of destroying it, Sonic rides it. There is no "dismount" button.
Buzzbomber shows up when Sonic's in water, and fires lightning shields into it.
Batbrains congregate at the exit of the crusher and wait.
Caterkiller calls its momma, who blocks the path completely.
Roller puts on an unconvincing Sonic disguise and fools Amy into helping it defeat "the new very lifelike Metal Sonic".
Burrobot tunnels through to Sandopolis zone and lets the ghosts loose.
Jaws just does the same as what this Jaws does because that is pure genius and I'm not even going to try to top it.
Bomb hands a letter to Sonic that says "why do I exist?" and Sonic is so distraught he gives up and retires.
Orbinaut drops the spikeballs and instead collects some of the level's vital springers, then waits in a location beneath unseen spikes.
Ballhog presses a switch which morphs 16-bit Scrap Brain into 8-bit Scrap Brain and none of Sonic's physics work right and he falls in a pit.

The reason why eggman doesn’t do this with his badnik’s because he want to prove he can beat sonic in a fight.
robotnik could make a quite small badnik that quickly traverses ground, (including vertical surfaces) it would be hard for sonic to destroy with it being so small and it would have the upper hand on sonic with it being hard to see since sonic is always looking straight ahead
So ‘Roller’, but small. Got it.

@@Triangly Ok so no plan for the same one. Then how about you make Sonic do something when the player leaves him alone in the game? Like for example the player leaves him alone in the game and goes eat lunch and then Sonic does something in the game rather than waiting for the player to make him move. How about that? If not then its okay I completely understand if you don't want to. Come up with own ideas instead if you don't use mine. Title should be like: What happens if Sonic is left alone? or What happens to Sonic when left alone? or What if Sonic did something when left alone?
