I haven't a spiritual bone in my body, but I enjoy rain sounds in the real world and on videos and MP3s. I listen to these not because they elevate me to some spiritual realm, but because the sound of rain is relaxing and helps block out the outside world when I want to relax. "Spiritual" or, even worse "healing" music is only of any use if it soothes. It certainly won't enlighten.
Of course you are right. Brilliant talk. The very word spirituality suggests something more or beyond that is egging us on towards it's fairy tale. I have found that the word is simply a designation for the observer inside the body so to speak. It is simply the inner world of the observer covered these days by psychology and philosophy. Unfortunately, many into 'spiritual practices' are looking for more than what is normal or reasonable. They want special powers or something. Clairvoyance etc. Some use magic to get what they want so they can be 'happy.' I have found that people don't fully understand what things are in the first place, including the natural happiness we are when our minds are at rest, and with a little definition all becomes clear and simple. This talk of yours is very succinct and spot on I feel. Very good indeed. As Buddha said: Your life is your story. Always best to point out how we all actually create our lives within this framework called earth. Many blame life when really they make excuses for their unskillful attitude. We have a relationship with ourselves as well that needs nurturing.

No I will be spiritual all I want!! Christians and other religions judge spiritual beliefs like we're foolish idiots and It says in the Bible that mans judgement is a sin. Only God can judge me, not a follower. You are not my God you can't tell me what I'm worth. My God tells me and you don't have to agree, that he made different religions for different mind sets as to who God is to them they all believe and worship a higher power or powers and no atheism isn't a religion. But the point is people who judge other peoples opinions, beliefs, religion, all very much be punished in my personal beliefs. I'm not hurting you, you're hurting me and who I am. You saying I need baptized is taking away who I am. But if we took that away from you, it would be a sin. So, there's my explanation on what I believe in. And I am not even 15.
It works for some, doesn't work for others. It's best to figure out what works for one as an individual. Your teachings will also not resonate with everyone

Spirituality is a field of nonsense of itself so trying to make sense of it is already going to lead to a lot of failures to make it seem rational
