    I am the owner of this insane machine....Thank you for watching this feature on WILD56 and supporting the build. You are the reason I turn up at car shows. I enjoy your company and conversation, and without you, the fans and enthusiasts, the scene would not exist. Cheers. Stan.

      ANT3RA what's are those pipe things on top of the blower

    • @ANT3RA_AU
      @ANT3RA_AU 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The 5 inch pipes going into the scoop on top of the blower are part of the induction system. They feed charged air from the intercooler to the supercharger. The two turbos charge the air in the intercooler. The supercharger takes the charged air, effectively double charging it and stuffs it into the combustion chambers.

    Awesome car mate - great to see something different. It'd be unreal to get the guys who make these vids down to Victoria to do vids on our cars. So far looks like all the cars in their videos have been from NSW. Again though brilliant build - top shelf stuff.

      Impala Barn We have a few from Victoria and QLD but we have done allot in NSW. we are definitely keen for a trip down south. Feel free to send us any info on some good stories on our Facebook page @insidegaragetv Thanks for your support!

      Inside Garage sorry guys - I just thought they were all Sydney cars so far. Easily the best Aussie car vids on TH-cam. I don't do Facebook but just cruise down to Geelong sometime after winter and you'll see a whole bunch of super tough and top shelf muscle cars getting around. Keep up the good work and keep those vids coming!

      Impala Barn no worries. Thanks again for the support. Great to hear we are doing it right. Definitely keen to head down that way. Cheers mate

    I love this model F100. Always been a fan of the 54, 55, 56 models. I've never seen one in a panel van though. I can't say I'm a fan to be honest. I love the colour and what was tried. But the back of it looks a little weak (and that's no disrespect to Stan). The stance of it just doesn't look right to me.
    That may be I'm just not used to seeing it in this body type, but I think it would have looked a lot better tubbed with dished wheels on the back of it to give it a bit more of an aggressive stance.

    • @ANT3RA_AU
      @ANT3RA_AU 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks mate. I agree about the rear end looking out of place, weak even, compared to what lies in the engine bay. I have always had a plan to change that.
      The idea has always been to get deep dish rears and matching fronts, once I find something I like and can afford. $1600 per corner with no rubber for custom deep dish Foose Nitrous/Legend wheels just wont do. Way too expensive. I do love the Foose product though.
      The rears are tubbed for 18 inch wide rubber, and a lot of height, so I have no issues there. I do not however want to go huge on the wheels height wise and with rubber bands hugging the road. I think that would look even worse. But that's why the scene is so good, cause we all have our own vision and idea about what a build could/should look like.
      I have so much torque at all rev ranges that thin rubber would not last very long. I really appreciate your feedback mate. More power to you. Stay frosty!

    “ because people knew who I was “ can you elaborate further? .. ;) at least you still blink, unlike some of the others...and you seam like a nice guy, I’m a painter and last year did over over 3500 production vehicles. and been involved with a SMOTY..
    Stan, the wheels let your car down imo!, change them , Maybe something like off that Mercules sled or Efijay Holden...it’s a similar period..
    And the colour isn’t the best either , the stripes are way off!!! work with its lines mate, it’s not your mates Shelby cobra it’s a sled....maybe a silver or black,something is letting your amazing car down.. nice build! Please take my advice ... but I can’t help you further

    its all subjective, but those back tyres? well like I said it's an opinion but i don't like them it throws the whole look out and they look like 30-dollar retreads, but nothings perfect to me its 99.9%perfect

    It's a real shame you chose to cut a hole in the bonnet, I would rather get rid of the blower and run just the twin turbos, make the same if not more power without the blower in the way and keep the bonnet untouched.

    • @ANT3RA_AU
      @ANT3RA_AU 7 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      I appreciate the comment mate. It was never about the horsepower, though we are good for 1500HP+ if needed, without breaking a sweat. It was always about two turbos & a roots blower working together, and being street driven most weekends. The bonnet just adds to the attraction of the build. You will find a lot of twin turbo V8's in the scene, but I almost guarantee you that you will hardly ever, if ever, see another twin turbo and blown V8 being street driven in Australia. Cheers.

      ANT3RA I understand it was about doing something different, and it is a wicked setup. It looks and sounds great and I'm sure it's a riot to drive. It's just a personal preference that I like keeping everything under the bonnet, but it's your car and you're obviously very happy with it and that's what counts in the end. Thanks for sharing the build with everyone 👍

      Thanks mate. That's why the scene is such a great thing. We all have our own styles and preferences and usually do our own thing to stand out from each other. There is a lot of variety. I appreciate your support mate. Cheers.

      That LJ Torana from the early 2000's was pretty epic, the red one with the two turbos and the 8/71. It never worked that well as a race car tho, kicked goals as a show car
