I'm Afridi and my family is from Peshawar and they very clearly think of "Afghans" as a distinct and different people even if they are all being called "Pashtuns" the people in the Pakistan regions are cut off and distinct from the groups and have their own separated history as well in many ways. She also does not have an appearance that is common for people in that area or among Pashtun people who can be more Caucasian looking in appearance where she looks a lot more East and South East Asian and even African potentially and is giving off cues like that. Her eyes and eye color were the more Peshawar style look, and the people there can have eyes like her sometimes in their bigness, but her very large lips and the way her nose looks all seem to be giving off very heavy signals of Asian more than the Caucasian look of some of the people there, but there are also very Asian and Turkic tribes around there who carry entirely East Asian style appearances. The way my family spoke of Afghani people was totally separate culturally and that their way of speaking was also different enough to separate them and their appearances at times too, the Afghani were thought to have smaller eyes and be poorer people in some respects.
