At one time I helped train puppies for service dogs through Puppies Behind Bars. They worked with inmates who were given Lab puppies to raise and give basic obedience training to. We would go into the correctional centers to pick up a puppy and keep them with us all day to get them used to things outside the prisons. They were such a delight to work with, I fell in love with every one of them. Deb do enjoy your time with the new grandbaby. The are the best part of being a parent.

I'm late watching this but I had to comment -- that SAL you're doing on such beautiful hand-dyed fabric -- with the over-dyed flosses chai, bamboo, sun-dried tomato etc. -- you seem to be stitching a salad! Made me chuckle! 😉😄
That picture behind you with the dog sleeping in the bed I have the same one found it in Michaels about 10 years ago. I framed it and hung it in my bedroom. He is so sweet. We both have good taste. LOL 😂

I turned on your TH-cam…I also picked up a magazine that a friend brought me today…Country Sampler, September 2023…I was listening and watching you while thumbing through the magazine. I was admiring all the decorations in a lovely house…turned to the last page of the article "Heirlooms in the Making." I wasn't reading just perusing…but whose face should I suddenly spot, but Deb's! 😳 Needless to say I plan to read the article more closely later after I finish watching you! Tell Deb that it is a great article! I am having fun looking for her needlework! I even found a pair of her embroidery scissors! Thanks for your efforts to share with us when Deb is otherwise occupied! 💕

I've been back to cross stitch for about 4 years now after not doing it for probably 15 years though I had been doing it a lot for the previous 20 years. I've been astounded at how it's developed! Today I'm doing finishing all the Little Sheep Virtues by Little House Needleworks into a quilty wall hanging. I'm also stitching Eliza's French Birds by JBW Designs. I'm a quilter too (been doing that for nearly 50 years). Only problem? Not enough hours in the day!
Enjoyed seeing all the things Liz. Have that same print of the picture in back of you. It's in my bedroom and it looks like my Murphy dog. He was the best!!.
So nice to catch up on your stitching! I became a Mimi for the first time this year. My daughter lives out of state but when I’m there I do no stitching so I can definitely understand. I’m sure they will have a new routine in no time. Happy Stitching!

So happy to see you again! I started back two and half years ago when I found country stitchers on UTUBE, to say I went down the rabbit hole is an understatement, lol. I immediately started looking for my stash from 1993, and started searching for my first Linen. I want to thank you both for opening back up my world. Due to disabilities I have been very limited the last ten years and this is definitely a life saver. You guys have a fantastic summer!!
