Awesome, thanks! You might want to check and reduce the gain settings of your microphone on the audio interface, it sounds like you are clipping a little.
really nice, but is it possible to establish the vpn to a windows 10 pro computer or do I need a different approach? I would like local access to db's with SSMS and azure storage from storage explorer.
Did you open up any ports for this S2S to actually connect to each other? I know that normally IKE is UDP 500, 4500. I don't think I saw you do that in this video. Were there rules added when you configured Azure Gateway etc?
Great Video!! do you know what I need to be able to connect the S2S-VPN-2-AZURE If I have a local virtual machine in my computer wunning windows server 2019? I'm not able to connect. I'm getting An error occured during connection of the interface The network connection between your computer and the VPN server could not be established because remote server is not responding. This could be because one of the network devices between your computer and the remote server is not configured to allow VPN connections. My local VM has already the same ipaddress range of my local network, Do you know what else I need to do?
Sir, excellent video; i really liked it alot. With this knowledge I have a important decision: vpn with win server 2022 or cloudfare. Cloudfare for a medical application does decryption /encryption of data, does VPN have all the security I need? or should I use a private VPN setup? should I use Entra ID or Entra xx to make the equivalent Security for medical data? Please let me know your opinion, i really need / want the WoW (words of Wisdom) thanks.
hi , can you please let me know how to configure (firewall)on prem to azure s2s incase of overlapping. please let me know how to configure nat rule on azure a
how to resolve hostname between on-premises and azure without DNS server.........i have tried opening port 53 on both the servers and place both server hostname on hostfile but i am unable to resolve hostname between two servers
These tutorials always test out connecting from the OnPrem machine to the machine in Azure. They never test or explain connecting the other way around - that is, from an Azure VM to an On Premises machine. That is not a complete test in my opinion.
Nice. But you didn’t talk about the SKU limitations and most important the price. Over 30 connections this is verrrry expensive. So use a pfsense for 50$ and your done 😂
azure is so bad like, I am creating a gatewaysubnet /28, but Azure says it needs to be higher than /27 likee are you okay in ur head? I already did that ffs.
I get your frustration-Azure’s subnet requirements can be really confusing sometimes. For GatewaySubnet, Azure does require at least a /27 or larger subnet because of the IPs needed for high availability and other gateway functions. Even if you’ve configured it correctly, sometimes cached settings or overlapping address space can trigger that error.
Brilliant explanation

thanks a lot, thanks for showing the steps all the way to the client connecting to the azure vpn gateway!
Great Job, easy Step by step video. Thanks

Can you please add azure firewall in the mix? How about NATing on the VPN gateway

Cheers man. Your voice is very muffled, be worth getting a better mic or do something to make it more clean
