I heard that the ideal landing is not to land as light and smooth as possible, but rather with proper pressure to the ground. Otherwise a sudden change of the wind may cause you to lose grip to the runway. That landing you did is probably not bad at all
It drives me insane that MS refuses to build a career mode into their game. I dont like any of the addons for this.

I believe now if spawning on the runway, not following a flight plan, etc gives you small penalties in on air.
