Awesome documentary about proboscis monkeys. You also can see extremely rare primate species in.Vietnam. Our Primate Wildlife Tour in Vietnam in Oct/2023 was organised by Vietnam Eco-Tours. baby monkey managed to handle all this tough moments such as hitting the water surface from very high distance and breathing under water while clinging on mother. Amazing nature
Its not a fish, it would die breathing under water. Probably has just like humans babies a reflex to not breath when they are submerged in water. Babys have that reflex because it was similar when they were in the womb. This prevents babies to get water into their lungs and stops them from drowning (Obviously only as long as they have enough oxygen and aren`t submerged for multiple minutes)
Monyet hidung besar ( BEKANTAN) adalah monkey asli kalimantan indonesia, jumlah mereka hanya sedikit dihutan dan kini mereka terancam punah karna diburu dan dibunuh😢😢
This is so irrelevant, but did anybody notice that the monkeys look like Minecraft VILLAGERS? Anyways, I was so relieved when all of the monkeys survived. Keep up the good work, BBC!❤
hey just wanted to say that my friend Adam has recently found out about these Proboscis monkeys and he has autism and his fascination with them have really helped give him something to focus on and be exited to learn about with all the covid stuff happening, he even has a stuffed one that he sleeps with and if hes having any kind of stress issues he just watches a video about these guys :)
@Bambi Palmer except there could have been a croc hiding where she landed the one that went right after her wee smartest and him he went in the middle before they got to them hes a coward left baby and mom to go last.
Right, when he said they were good swimmers I had no idea he meant that they could swim underwater! When she went under I was like nooooo!!! Then realized she was fine hahahah
I have to admit that I was on the edge of my seat when the crocs were coming! I was especially worried for the baby not just because of the crocs but also I wasn’t sure if it knew to hold its breath while being underwater! Thank goodness they all made it safely across! That was sweet how the rest of the family showed so much concern about the others getting across! They are sooo bonded!

This kept me nervous and on the edge. I kept my fingers crossed and praying for the safe passage of the monkeys and especially the baby monkey and its mum. So glad nothing nasty happened because those crocs look so damn scary!
Oh my God! That was spectacularly breathtaking......,Looking at the dauntless decision making, the concentration, the technique and the power of the flight, one would only feel that nature is amazing. That is a calculated move!

He jumped halfway across the river that time. 😁 Right before he jumped he was mumbling to himself…..I should have gone first, at least second. Amazing camera work.
So that's how you do a high dive without injury, you spread out flat in the air on the way down and then pull your arms and feet downward just before you hit. That could come in handy if I ever fall off a bridge.
MiniMedley But imagine this... would you dive into a lake with two crocodiles swimming in it? Never mind two, what about just one crocodile? Cause I wouldn't
