This song is really supposedly sang that way, very emotional, like she's crying, coz the original singer also sang this song so closed to tears. They're both acting out the lyrics, it's about a woman who, after fighting so hard for her love, finally decided up one day to give up and set her man free because she feels things are hopeless between the two of them. This is a very famous Korean song that's why Koreans really cheered for Morissette when they heard her sing it. Morissette is always so into the song she's singing, she feels the song so she can easily convey its message to the listener. Anyway, thanks for reacting to her. Morissette did "Resignation" (the 2nd emotional song) cover again this year during quarantine with updated lyrics and recorded in English, Tagalog, and Korean released on her TH-cam channel. Very emotional and powerful but this performance live on stage at the Asian Song Festival 2018 especially when she debut the song in front of mostly Korean audience singing in the original Korean language is awesome.
