Guyana SPEAKS: Clips from Bourda Bazaar, which took place at Draper Hall on Sat, 9th December 2023

Guyana SPEAKS has been hosting a Bourda Bazaar every year since 2017 in the second week in December (bar 2021 due to Covid). The aim is to support Guyanese and Caribbean businesses and provide an atmosphere in which members of the diaspora can socialise, shop and network. Each of our Bourda Bazaar events has featured some entertainment. This year we decided to invite the Guyana UK Kwekwe group to share folk songs with the community. The were also pleased to have raised £550 through a raffle for the Guyana Cancer Society. Due to popular demand we are currently trying to find a larger venue to host next year's event. Thank you to the Guyanese and wider Caribbean community for continuing to support Guyana SPEAKS.
